She's not saying she doesn't like long movies. Just that this one wasn't good enough to sit through that long.
We get that, but from all sources the one thing this movie has is action. If she found this boring what the hell does she normally do for entertainment.

That Ashley reviewer is on boxoffice.com forums complaining about all of you to them.

Depends how well its done. I say the latter 2 transformers movies are 2 hours too long because they are a chore to sit through. Obviously she is in the minor group for now.

I'm surprised Liefeld didn't bash it based on his falling out with DC haha

Just saw an early screening of #ManOfSteel with @brightjungthing .... Long, but so damn good ... #Superman
reactions everywhere!!

Funny that people are saying it's long. For the life of me, I can't see how they fit everything in that we've seen. I'd say it's not long enough!

I don't mind a 4 hour epic. Hell I did a Back to the Future marathon at the alamo drafthouse, 7 hours in one sitting, and I loved every min of it.

I'm sure Lois says "Welcome to Earth" so it's just ID4 part 2.

Why do you guys care about this Ashley person again?

And the lovely redfirebird who is also a member here is agreeing with her

She said it was long because she didn't like the entire thing. Clearly not a Superman fan.

I love the fact that some people think it's too long. To me that says the first half of the film focuses less on plot development and action and more on Clark's own spiritual journey. I could see why a casual movie goer might think that's a "pacing" problem... because god forbid there isn't an explosion every 20 minutes.

No offense moviefan! but I feel like you're just being immature right now. Wanted to use a lot more abrasive word than that for the record.

"Hans Zimmer's soundtrack was surprisingly good."

A strong devotion to the Williams theme, and/or they've never heard of Zimmer.
Ya know, the multiple Academy Award winning composer? :o
