-Z- I agree with you 100%. GG backstory is already told. Sandman's you develop. Venom's story will be told through the emotions of peter. People will see that Black spider-man is bad. when it goes to a distraught eddie Brock you have VENOM. The Lizard's story was told through spider-man 2 a liitle. And when pete helps him turn back he will help pete back with the symbiote. It's not that hard to figure out for the people who don't believe this.

When, or where, did I say I would "not" go see it? Please point that out Sherlock. But if it sucks, or IF we get UNdeveloped (note not underdeveloped) villains with 4... you can count on me telling the truth, as opposed to drinking the Kool-Aid like you and your... "followers" here.

Yes, that is true. However, he is walking a fine line. You can not give a lot of screen time, however you can't shortchange existing story lines, mainly the Goblin Legacy in order to add more to the Sandman, Gwen etc story arc. It would be VERY anticlimatic, and, I feel, cheapin the other two movies if Harry's transformation and battle with Spider-man as the Green Goblin feels rushed, or over shadowed by Venom, Sandman, etc. I'm all for Venom being awesome, and for Sandman to steal his scenes, etc. But you can't just close this arc just to close it, it has to feel complete.

Yeah... And SM1 or SM2 would of been GRRRREAAATTT (Tony ) IF we had gotten a completely non developed Norman or Otto. As it was, we got basically "Lite" versions of them as it was... AND THAT WAS WITH ONE FRICKIN VILLAIN.

Venom does NOT equal non MAJOR VILLAIN (especially WHEN you throw in the symbiote and Brock's story)

Lizard... does not equal non major villain, especially when you throw in his story and the relationship of Peter to the Connors Clan.

You have Gwen and Capt Stacy. You have the Bugle. You have JJ. You have Harry's story to COMPLETE!!! You have Aunt May time. AND OF COURSE... you'll have Peter+MJ time (they did just get together and MJ found out Peter's secret

AND ON TOP OF THIS... you want to have 4 Villains!?!?!?!?!?!?

Sandman's backstory won't take long. Supposedly he's hiding out on the beach and is involved in an accident, giving him his powers. 5 minutes right there.

GG's backstory is already there. Harry just has to put on the costume and start chucking some bombs.

Venom's story will unfold throughout the whole movie, with Brock's story and the black costume. When he gets the costume, BAM! You have Venom.

4th villain? Hopefully somebody minor (someone mentioned Rhino---that'd be easy to do for just a couple minutes). This assuming it is an ACTUAL villain, not just an antagonist. Hell, maybe JJJ becomes a "villain" in some sense of the word.

Pete and MJ's story is already there. We just have to see 1 scene of him doing some silly Spidey-type stuff around the house and 1 scene of MJ dealing with the issues and stresses that come from being with Spidey, especially after he gets the black suit. MJ and Pete don't have to have a ton of screen time together.

Captain Stacy and Gwen will be interesting. Shouldn't take too long to set that up, with him being a Captain in the NYPD. He'll pop up in the first part of the movie with Gwen, and we'll have a short scene with her and Peter, like a "reunited"-type scene.

Obligatory Aunt May scene. 5-10 minutes at most.

If this movie is over 2 hours, which it probably will be (enough with this 3 hour nonsense---not gonna happen), everything will be fine. Raimi knows how to tell a story, and the previous 2 movies have laid a lot of the groundwork for this one. Stop panicking. Nothing from the first 2 films has given me any reason to doubt Raimi's ability to pull off whatever he wants.
