I'm all for visual adaptations as long as they still somewhat resemble their comic counterparts. (Which is the reason why I have enjoyed EVERY OTHER Nolan villain.)

Agreed wholeheartedly. I have a ski mask so I'd probably wear the muzzle over that since I won't be shaving my head t: but I'll make it work. Zomg I even have this badass leather jacket with a hoodie!!! haha I am such a nerd.

I understand Nolan has taken his liberties with these films, and so far they have worked out well (and it is a different universe than the comics) but that doesn't mean we have to just flat out accept it like drones does it?

Who said anything about doing that though? I, for one, have already stated that I understand where the complaints about the look of movie Bane come from. I've even admitted that I think I would've preferred a more comic-accurate visual portrayal. Still, I think Nolan's design looks cool and he's delivered with the villains' portrayals so far.

What I'm trying to say is that you don't have to accept these changes from the get-go, just that there's reason to give the final product a chance considering Nolan's track-record, instead of making premature judgments such as "the character looks like some random thug".
