one kick to the face and that mask is done
And on what theory or evidence do you base this on? You've yet to receive the 411 on Bane's mask...

Easy to say when things have already been finalized. I seem to remember a large number of people convinced that Joker would never wear purple, or that Two-Face would not have severe scarring. Both obviously proven wrong."Ah, I didn't like Nolan's interpretation of the Joker because he wore make-up."
"Bane's mask is not like the comics' version -- I don't like it."
Let's be a little realistic here guys. Bane having a traditional mask from the comics wouldn't translate well on screen, at all. Nolan's approach not only adds realism but a tactical usage too.
So because Nolan proved fanboys wrong before he gets a free pass on everything?"Ah, I didn't like Nolan's interpretation of the Joker because he wore make-up."

Incidentally, Bane was at the bottom of everyone's lists as a likely candidate to be a Nolan villain. But here we are. I'd be weary of speaking with absolute certainty. With this franchise alone, fanboys have had their expectations totally shattered on more than a few occasions.
Is Bane's (cloth based) Luchador Mask kick resistant?

look at it, its all fragile tubing.
do you think that a kick from batman is so weak it can't bend or break half inch tubing?

Plus: Who dares to give Bane a kick to the face?![]()
unless its titanium its going down
I'll make this very short: you completely misinterpreted what I said. Nowhere did I state or imply anything of that sort. Only that fans have a knack for stating the obvious and championing their positions long after things have been established. Their track record for accurately predicting what is to happen in any of these films, based on personal expectations and preference, is dubious at best.I guess, by that logic, fanatics were hoping for Batman to wear his underwear on the outside of his Batsuit...
I don't even want the Luchador mask, but it could have feasibly been made into an intimidating design. Scarecrow had nothing more than a potato sack, yet it was pulled off just fine. No one should mistake their inabilities to imagine any given scenario as being workable, as proof of impossibility. It's not our job to make it work. That's the artists' concern. We're only along for the show.Bane's Luchador Mask is awesome in the comics, but I kind of doubt the GA would take Nolan's version of Bane seriously with that thing on.
Once more, provide evidence.
You can't, because you don't know the circumstance or design of the mask. You just assume it's a fragile mask with tubing.
I would think it's incredibly amateurish that an evil do'er would should up in a fight with the Batman with a fragile mask.
"Hold on! I need a second. One of my tubes fell out of place."
Who didn't?
I'm guessing you fell asleep during Science class.
