Plus as far as I know Empire hasn't been touched (my favorite of the 6) and to see it in Blu-Ray quality is too tempting.

I don't know...I severely doubt it. He wouldn't add it regularly but, There could be an option but, I doubt it.

Ah shucks. Well, maybe a fan savvy enough will edit the deleted scenes into the movie. I'd love to see that!

Jedi is supposedly an HOUR longer than the released version.

Same here, TPM is my least favorite movie and I hate 3D but, I will see it in 3D next year.

See, if people weren't buying that stuff, GL would've stopped with the LaserDisc editions. It's obvious that the love is ongoing (and will be ongoing) and that the naysayers are just more vocal than the rest of us. Oh, and if that makes me a drone... well, I accept the characterization. Gladly.

You mean the 1997/2004 ones? I saw the "No. Nooo" scene and it's not nearly as bad as people say, imo. The 1997/2004 change where Luke screams "No" in ESB (right after he CHOOSES to fall) was way worse. You gents could reply to this in the 'Tusi thread, since the same topic is being talked about there.

In 100 years from now the original trilogy will be unrecognizable, as I'm sure Lucas has every possible change there is written in his Will.

The changes in the special edition don't bother me. The newest Jabba in ANH looks terrible though. There are somethings I can do without but, nothing has made me as upset as "No. Noooo!"

I got a hold of the blu ray release of the original Star Wars trilogy early. I still have to watch them but it sounds like the changes are minor. I haven't heard anything about Return of the Jedi being an hour longer but I'll find out for myself.

Star Wars got me into films too, but the changes are enough for me to not want to buy the blu-ray, since ROTJ is now anti-climactic.
