I'm calling it now. He's gonna wear that jaw-plate that Ra's and his cronies put on toward the end of Batman Begins to protect themselves from the toxins... It'll be part of his Bane get-up.

That and stealing part of the Bat-suit. Or something like that.

Because I really want to design a LoS Bane

I like this version of the mask a lot.

The bottom one is my favorite. The see thru idea could work maybe. Although it would be terrifying for Bane to just wear the mask to scare the living **** out of people and do his thing, and only puts it on for that whenever he does it. So maybe the see-thru wouldn't work as much. And the second in the middle does work great.

Which one do you mean when you say see-thru? I'm just not sure and wanted to verify.

The last two concept drawings of Bane appeared to have a see thru part of his mask where you could see his mouth.

The idea struck me as really quite visceral.

Yeah, he does.

Except for the red tubes and the white part of the mask and the VERY slight red tinge in the visor, he would be indistinguishable from any other LoS ninja.

I like the other design better anyway. I want to see Hardy's eyes and mouth. That design in general is more of a hybrid between the LoS and a Luchador.

The long sleeve design has it's Bane accents, but it is still a bit too Ninja for me.

That's why I like the other design with his arms showing.

What is it that you're not a fan of from the LOS design? Is it just the fact that the mask is more ninja than it is lucha?

Because other than that, there isn't much different. (Sure there are added gauntlets and a chest plate vs a vest, but those aren't major changes imo)

I'm actually for him being part of the League, but my issue with that design is that he looks a lot like one of those henchman he fought in the third act of Begins that was part of the League and I think Bane needs to be very distinctive in appearance.

I hope Tom Hardy as Bane beats Batman so hard that Batman cries from the pain. The one thing or emotion we haven't seen Batman do is cry, but to be beaten so badly that he's crying in pain would be a cool new fresh sight

I was talking more about the second design.

The first design of those two I was ambivalent about. Didn't like it, didn't hate it.

But that second one...I would expect to see that one from a VERY unimaginative director wanting to include Bane as a Boss fight in a Batman Begins spin off video game, but not wanting to use Bane to his full potential right before Batman fights Ra's.

Again, your art is amazing. Can't stress that enough.
