It's pretty strange to know that the suit it is sleeveless under that...lol

Can't wait to see him in action. Hopefully they improved their stunt work.

The only stunt work I had a problem with was the Martian Manhunter....he was far too slow and clumsy looking. It wasn't until the episode "Falling" that he seemed more fluid.

As far as Kara, she developed as I thought she should having been someone who had never fought anyone before until she was 24 years old....she progressed as I thought she should. But Martian Manhunter should have been much better IMO.

And cape-less and boot-less as well!

But, Supergirl's costume seems to have the same miraculous powers of hiding its own "bulk", including the cape, boot and skirts when Kara is in civilian clothes (including pants).

I'm happy to suspend disbelief in both instances to get the iconic "shirt rip" scenes!

Oh heck yeah.....

So nice to see a proper shirt rip.

Or in the crossover, when Kara launches into the air and her clothes fall off and - BANG - she's in Supergirl garb!

Suspension of disbelief is a requirement with most shows on TV. Have no problem, simply enjoy!:SG:

As for Tyler, between Clark Kent and Superman, he must look decidedly different. If all it took was a pair of glasses then no one would be fooled. The time when that was all you needed was back in the fifties. Nowadays it is the stance as well as the clothes.
Clark must appear unassuming and nerdy. It's all about stealth, and I wouldn't be surprised if Kal has used Jimmy's height in the past as a distraction.

I think he just has an extreme metabolism and he's hungry......

And this ain't Beauty and the Beast.....yeah....yeah.....Gaston reference..... :sly:

actually, Clark's diet consists of nothing else but donuts and cinnabons.

the sweet tooth is a Kryptonian thing. :o

There is a such thing as genetics folks. Being 6'3" 215-225 all muscle is a real thing. Trust me. (Thanks pops) :sly:

I ****ing love these colors.

Really, the cape attachments and the belt are ******, but this is overall a great suit. It's grown on me. I like it and I can't wait to watch this.

I've always found the shirt rip weird. Does he not get hot? Does he not pee? Does he not wear underwear?

I agree that the suit looks MILES better in the set pictures, but I still hate that cape attachment. If not for that, the suit would be perfect. I can even forgive the boots after learning that those were inspired by the New-52, so they didn't pull them completely out of nowhere.

Interesting they used the boots (and the...lines...on the suit...I guess) from New52 but not the collar. Generally I prefer a wide collar for Superman, as it's a look that pretty much no one else has. Also Tyler clearly needs his monstrous superhero neck to be free.

wow. Tyler looks great. Good job TV.

I like that he looks so much like Michael Turner's Superman in face and build.

Thank the Lord, at least they are going with iconic images. Can't believe we haven't got a shirt rip from Snyders Superman. It would be hilarious if a tv budget Superman gets more embraced than Snyders and would further highlight why he is wrong for the role of bringing Superman to the big screen.

The digs at Cavill are getting old, end of the day it us a different version of the sane character. Cavil's is a Superman who is quite clearly still a rookie whereas Tyler's Superman we know has been doing this for a long time.

Cavils Superman is two years in and is 35yrs old, when does one stop being a rookie?
