I know.i was shocked today when i heard on twitter about abuse charges leveled against him.and unlike the charges leveled at bryan singer 2 years ago there is evidance of it.this came out at worst time for him.

Lol idk about that, but I'm glad Apocalypse is coming out on top though I know it's not likely it'll be great if if keeps the hold next week as well.

Pretty sure Disney releases a movie every Memorial Day weekend. Or at least next to it.

Also, not sure how good 90m for a 4 day weekend is good. Isn't that quite a bit below DoFP?

I don't believe it's a bit low I thought it was relatively similar or not to far off from each other. I'm really not certain thought I only cared about the overall box office numbers.

Particularly when it's a sequel to a movie that made a billion dollars worldwide.

I knew Alice 2 would drop off hard compared to its predecessor, but that'[s way harsher than I would have guessed.

If there's one movie to worry about this weekend, it's Alice not X-Men: Apocalypse.

It's funny how now with hindsight a $90Mil 4-day weekend is now a win for a this movie.

I'm certainly fine with that number.

No Wolverine leading and mixed reviews. Could have been a lot worse.

If DoFP is the peak box office-wise that's fine. It's the biggest X-Men event-movie to date.

It will be an interesting, if wholly unknowable, question what the franchise would have done with stronger initial reviews (which I personally don't agree with, despite the flaws, but everyone's entitled to their opinion).

My dream was for it to scrape by a 100 mil three day. But that doesn't seem to be happening. All things considered, I don't think it is a horrible result, especially if the numbers keep going up. And Fox was clearly prepared for this, with them playing accounting magic.

Its not great, sure. But it isn't exactly "REBOOT EVERYTHING!!!!!!" terrible.

Also, I think Gitesh tends to overestimate stuff, at least from what I've observed since BvS.

There is such an easy solution to Lawrence's chagrins about long make up hours, alleries, body invasion, peeing blue etc. It's called motion capture.

But singer seems to have something against that.

He's stuck in 2000.
