yep.star wars alone made it big.add first one in 10 years and return of original cast even though with exception of harrison ford they didn't have huge roles.

It really is underperforming by a large margin.

Shhhhh! No place for facts here! It's crazy how people are downplaying the box office of this film like it is doing well. It's not! They had high hopes for this film and it is not living up to expectations! This film will be lucky to get to $500M WW!

Man, this sucks. I loved this movie and I'd love to see more of this new cast. I think a new fresh creative team could really work wonders with these new X-Men.

But it isn't a disaster. Disappointing, sure. But, I would rather not swim in disappointment and try to look at the results as positively as possible.

The piracy conspiracy is pure MCU fanboys refusing to accept that the MCU may not have as good as legs as they thought. There have been pirated copies for pretty much every major film since the internet.

Legs doesn't mean it doesn't make money. I mean, BvS will make more than Apocalypse, and that had some of the worst legs ever. When you open higher, you will still make more money.

From the report I saw, it started just under BvS for opening day. It sounds like there was plenty of late walk up business. As long as it doesn't collapse like BvS did, it should do okay, though Warcraft is still a monster coming.

I though Warcraft isn't doing well.

I dunno if it has changed but last i read civil war didn't make as much as iron man 3 which you kinda wonder what happened there, I heard a theory BVS hurt the movie purely because they are both comic book movies and the casual audience don't see them as any different to each other
