^ Look, I too think that Amandla Stenberg would fit the look of Ororo vry well, but you guys need to realize something that is very important...

They are casting 18-21 year olds to play 16. yes, they may (possibly) go slightly beyond the high end. Maybe someone 22 or 23 might get cast, but they WILL NOT go below the 18.

See, there are these rules about filming when using kids (younger than 18). You can olny film for a set amount of time, there are school related issues, etc. I'm sure it's a huge hassle, and with a film like this they would not want to cast one of the big three and have to deal with this stuff.

So any actor or actress they cast for Scott, Jean or Ororo WILL BE at least 18, and likely not older than 23 (actually, likely 21). If they start filming early neat year, then that is when they would need to be 18.

Amandla's birthday is October 23rd, 1998.

So in say March of 2015 she would be 16 years old, turning 17 in October.

Sorry, she's just too young to be cast.

X-Men Days of Future Past basically gave a reboot without having to start over.

The main players are going to be introduced and aside from the characters in the dofp epilogue having to be alive and in the mansion anything can happen between Apocalypse and 2023.

That's 40 years before they catch up to the future with essentially a blank slate for storytelling.

In reference to a post above I'd LOVE to see Morlocks. Some Mutants will manifest with Mutations that make them ugly and noticeable to the ret of humanity so a ragtag group of ugly Mutants living underground would be something is love to see

They were kind of idiots.DOFP was a reboot of series.The events of trilogy and the wolverine as well as most of origins are now out of "Contunity" of films.Only the future ending of DOFP do they have to take into account.

Inless you want to include the pre vietnam war parts of orgins and WWII
flashbacks of the Wolverine the only things taking place In "Contunity" prior to Apocalypse are First Class and 1973 & post credits scene parts of DOFP.

This Is reboot madness when everyone claims for reboot and with X-Men it's mostly has been done already.

When they talk about intial X-Men trilogy they seem to forget Bryan Singer had nothing to do with The last Stand.

Basiclly they did away with other films that would have conflicted with First Class as far as Coutunity goes.

The three rumored for Jean are under 18, but not by much. They will be 18 when the movie comes out. It could be the same for Storm.

What?? I saw don't look for look alikes and just choice actors/actresses whom can actually act not just good looks.

I will say again, i don't want a Halle Berry 's clone and Nicole Beharie doesnt look like her. But Berry is still the future version so they should respect that a little .
Jennifer Lawrence doesnt look like Rebecca but you can buy her for younger version because they are blonde and have similar skin color .

Anyway, Nicole Beharie is too old for the role .

It's going to be intresting to see if these a list actresses mean Young Jean Grey has role close to Apocalypse,Beast,and Wolverine proment since it is likely Xavier,Magneto,Mystique are main roles In film.

It will be Intresting to see if they rehash Phoenix In future films.

Bryan Singer's vision was exposure to Magneto's machine expanded her power and she eventully evolved into more powerful beings not what we got In Last stand.

Consider this we know right off the bat of 10 characters In film

Xavier
Magneto
Mystique
Apocalypse
Beast
Wolverine
Quicksilver
Cyclops
Jean
Storm

Then depending if Mystique Is turned into horseman or not there will be 2 or 3 other characters Introduced as Horseman

Gambit and Nightcrawler are still possibiltys to be seen In Apocalypse

Then if magneto has Brotherhood possibilty of Scarlet Witch or Toad being in film with him and Quicksilver.

There also Is possibilty of working in Deadpool appearance.

Poentialy we could be looking at 18 Characters if they don't make Mystique a horseman and all of these other characters make the cut.

No, they will be 18 before filming starts.

It's a big difference.

Again, there are these laws for working minors (under 18) on films. They can only work for a certain amount of time per day, need breaks at set intervals, must get their schooling in, etc. And when you're paying ten of thousands of dollars, per day, to film on location, you don't want to have to put off til tomorrow what could have been done today.

So unless the actor or actress will be at least 18 when filming begins, they will likely not be considered.

it being apocalypse it can only have a wide scale appeal so you probably can't make it a small personal character story like FC or most of DOFP, so i do expect we will hear about quite alot of characters being involved, whether they are just silent characters for power use or have a meaty role in the story

and From what i can tell nearly everyone believes gambit will be in apocalypse, which he could be but unless i have missed something there hasn't actually been any official announcement of this but then no one has denied it either or made an effort to stop it being thrown around

its also possible while nightcrawler could be in apocalypse but there is also a chance he won't be in it and it could have been an early idea singer had and abandoned like alot of early ideas in movie productions, but i will be surprised if there isn't some teleporting mutant involved in this film since bryan seems to work well with these sorta mutants

After being cast In second ghost Rider after Thor he should be able to do it.

I try to avoid comments there because of the hate.When I go to IMDB i have put a lot of most antiX-Men films and antiBryan Singer posters on Ignore so I don't even have to see posts and it makes less stressful
