Ok Gueststar. The X-Men franchise will never use Emma Frost again.:loco:

the fact her name was even mentioned by magneto and at no point did someone say hey she is abit to big of a character for us to lose so perhaps we should keep her name out of this says they likely didn't think to much about it

Technically she has been used twice already and saying she is dead doesn't mean much since we didn't see her die but still how long till they decide its worth bringing her back?

With this franchise expanding into Hellfire, Deadpool, New Mutants, X-Force and Gambit. Probably alot faster then most think.

Colossus was changed from Singers DOFP version pretty quickly. Depends what filmmaker has a hold of her. Since X-Men fans are mostly being hired in now to helm that changes the motivation a bit.

Hellfire isn't going to be linked to the Cinematic Foxverse though, right?

We don't know if hellfire is connected but since it doesn't sound like legion is... its hard to say

Since it's about the 60s hellfire club I would imagine. Just an odd choice if it isn't as it's taking a cue from FC. But yeah never know...

Think most of us expect Emma there one way or the other.

Even if it is, I don't want Jones to be Emma, please.

Still would like to see Alice Eve or Rosamund Pike in the role.

No Jones and also no Bacon, please

annd that's the first time in my life I've ever asked for 'no bacon'

It's so frustrating being a X-Fan we don't get many minorities or women on screen

There's more ladies in X-Men: Apocalypse than of the other two of the big three this year. So I don't see that as being an issue

X-Men: Apocalypse: Jean, Storm, Mystique, Psylocke, Jubilee and Moira. That's Six.

Batman v Superman: Wonder Woman and Lois Lane. That's Two.

Civil War: Black Widow, Scarlet Witch and Pepper Potts Agent 13. That's Four.

we don't get any video games or animation and the actual comics get reduced to a handful of titles it's beyond annoying now

That's Disney's fault not Fox

Im just hoping he and emma arn't really dead... and people just think they are.. no body shown and all...

Those two I think if they want them back they can easily do so. Since there wasn't an official body of either. I hope this is the case, I am a little upset Caleb didn't come back I really liked him as Banshee.

Forgot Scarlet Witch lol, but I agree out of all the big CBM XMen def have the most and that's what I love about this franchise and why I'm so excited for Apocalypse and the future of this franchise.

They should have renewed their deal with Activision for another Marvel Ultimate Alliance or X-Men Legends.

Yes they've finally added some females after 16 years.

16 years to get 6 females. There were zero in the main portion of DoFP except the naked one.

The ones in FC all had to strip

Female X-Men are stronger than the male's but they've never won a final battle in the movies.

Or any girl on girl fights except horrible x3 how did ratner get f v f but nobody else thought of it

Agreed, I didn't like his Shaw.

Not that he's a bad actor, I just didn't like that version of Shaw.

I didn't like his Shaw either.

January Jones was tolerable, she played it the way Vaughn wanted - an ice-maiden who was coldly detached rather than a totally sarcastic ice-queen. More like the way the character was when she first appeared in the comics.

And she never had a chance to shine on screen, as just a henchwoman. But I agree the character is better in the later iteration with more of an acerbic manner and a stronger personality.

I liked it that Caleb was dorky and not another Hollywood pretty boy. Yes, it's great to have hunks and hotties in these films, but a bit more variety would be good too. At the moment, they are putting in less 'pretty' characters but they are all blue... We have four blue people in Apocalypse... First Class at least had a red one with Azazel...

Here in the UK i seen ads on the TV for an exclusive look at x-men apocalypse after the next episode of the walking dead, I dunno if it's the Super Bowl spot or the new trailer, they showed bits of the Super Bowl spot in the ad so I dunno

The Walking Dead's latest episode just recently finished but I didn't see any X-Men advert? Having said that, I never saw any ads throughout the week promoting an X-Men promo either. Maybe during next weeks finale.

EDIT - Okay, I just saw an ad lol. The sneak peek is during TWDs finale next Monday. Hopefully some new footage will feature.

I doubt Hellfire or Legion will be linked to the movies - and, if they are, it will be the sort of vagueness and contradictions that we have seen so far in X-Men film continuity...

DC's big and small screen offerings are, of course, entirely separate and I can imagine that Fox might do something similar and won't want to go the same lengths as Marvel in getting everything to line up. They probably regard it as an obstruction to creative freedom.

Only Kevin Feige and co seem determined to build a truly connected live-action world. Fox doesn't have such a 'continuity overlord' looking after every detail.

I wish they would, their movies need it, more so now that they're poised to diversify and create splinter movie franchises.
I'll accept the tv shows being disconnected.
