Fans of TAS want Sentinel's that's why DoFP made more $ than any other film Sentinel's were a huge part of that. We haven't gotten Bastion Nimrod or Master Mold. Or The Omega Sentinel's which ends the complaint of Sentinel's who don't talk (Bastion talks too)

Madelyn Pryor can easily take Emma Frost place in The Hellfire Club. Emma's probably not coming back.

We need as many female characters good or bad in Super Hero movies as we can get just off principal. I'd welcome Madelyn to the franchise. She doesn't have to tied to Cyclops or Jean only hardcore fans know about her just change the origin

Just don't make her a clone
That character you're describing really isn't Madelyne Pryor, then.

Doesn't Marvel have The Brood?
I'd be surprised it they did. The Brood were created as X-Men foes, even if they're been used elsewhere; they're in the same boat as the Shi'ar.

Just don't make her a clone

Then theres no point in using her bc being a clone and her history to Scott and Jean is core to her character. There are plenty of other female characters in the X-lore that can be used instead. Selene would be a more appropriate Queen for the HFC and IMO is more of a menacing threat

I agree Selene would be a better choice if they take it that way. It's foolish to make that Madelyne and just change her completely when she is a clone with history to Scott/Jean and Mr Sinister. If they don't honor that then no need using her.

You basically took a word out of some of my suggestions.

X-Men: The Mutant Massacre you changed to X-Men: Mutant Massacre lol smh X-Men: Operation Zero Tolerance you changed to X-Men: Zero Tolerance lol

X-Men: Inferno is a classic X-Men vs Sinister storyline that'll have to be adapted eventually

X-Men: The Proteus Saga is Claremont's third best story after DoFP and The Phoenix Saga

Learn your X-Men before you call someone unimaginative

Well, I didn't mean to upset you, I was trying to tidy up some of your suggestions to make them a bit more snappy. Also, I feel the title should be more indicative of the content, as it also has to appeal to the casual audience - which is why X-Men: Inferno didn't really feel like a good film title to me.

Also, I don't know if a film could be called The Proteus Saga. A saga in one film? A saga feels like the sort of thing to unfold over several films.

Just my thoughts. The studio will have its own ideas. And film titles get changed if other films have something similar. Age of Ultron and Age of Extinction was one reason we didn't get Age of Apocalypse, though in all three of those cases it wasn't/isn't really an 'age'. It might be more of an age in the comics, because of the time and number of issues over which it unfolds, but one movie never feels like an 'age'

No The Brood debuted in Uncanny X-Men #155 created by the gods Claremont & Cockrum they are X-Men characters just like The Shi'ar

Yes, I'm pretty sure they are X-Men characters and owned by Fox.

But they are also Alien xenomorph rip-offs - the long heads, the general shape, laying eggs inside a host, etc etc - and for that reason I doubt they will appear.

What is this about Madelyn Pryor and making her a member of the Hellfire Club? Really?

There needs to be multiple women in The Hellfire Club not just Selene. Candy Southern Selene Aage etc etc it's the evil version of X-Men so it needs multiple female members as well.

I like Madelyn Pryor, but I would rather not open that can of confusion in the movies. Likewise with making Cable the son of Cyclops. There are just some things that need to be dropped for the general audience.

The thing with Proteus, is I think Singer is no confident he can get the budget for him.

We have had more than enough Stryker now. Hopefully X-Men: Apocalypse is the end of that.

Magneto has come back loads of times, and so has Stryker. They've had two goes at Emma Frost, two goes at Psylocke, two goes at Trask, three goes at Angel and they will no doubt continue doing that sort of thing if it serves the film.

Someone else could easily develop a Sentinel-type mechanical weapon. Probably a human villain/organisation. But it's possible.

Seems a little brief and non-descriptive of anything. But it's possible.

Three goes at Angel? Wasn't the x2 thing scrapped?

Honestly if this film comes out in 2019 or 2020 that's basically 20 years since X1.

With a new Director how about just.....

X-Men (2020) or The Uncanny X-Men

You don't want Cable to be a Summers in the films?

I'm thinking DOFP made money because of Jackman/Wolverine and the original cast being added, not the Sentinels.

She's the Red Queen in the comics

I know. You said specifically make her take Emma's place which makes no sense because it was a very brief time she was even on that team and as others have said Selene makes more sense in that role anyway. Far more people know of Madelyn through her association with Sinister.

Not really. All thats needed is Selene and Tessa.

You have to realize, at times, when certain things should not be translated into film.

they can hint at it kind of like Magneto and Quicksilver without actually going there. They just need to keep the coming from the future as part of his character, although doing so would almost see like a retread of DOFP, which is why I dont ever see him being a part of an X-men film. Deadpool or a spinoff like X-force is likely where he'd turn up

Wolverine and the original cast was definitely a factor but I don't think wolverine solely. Because if he was such a huge draw then his solo efforts should've been better. I don't think it was the sentinels either it was just a mix of it all. DoFP also looked to have the best action of the series so far and it did. So I think it was just a merry mix of it all in one.

Apocalypse is coming off of that success and has even more crazy cool action as well as the best villain in the X-Men world. It's gonna be all fine.

Angel/Warren in X-Men: The Last Stand

Angel (Salvadore) in X-Men: First Class (there was talk when Vaughn was doing X3 that he was asking about a female version of Angel, and he actually brought in Angel Salvadore for First Class as a nod to the Angel in the original X-Men team in the comics)

Angel/Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse

...Yes, the insect-winged, female Angel is different to the male, bird-winged Angel, but she was brought into First Class as a nod to the original team of the comics...

Where are you getting that information?

It's only been two Angels because the other isn't even the same character in any way.

Where are you getting that information?

It was part of the gossip for X3 and part of the talk about character choices in First Class. Otherwise, why the heck was Angel Salvadore there? It was said to be a nod to the 60s comics where the male Angel was one of the original X-Men.

It's only been two Angels because the other isn't even the same character in any way.

There have been three characters called Angel, that's the point - even though one was female with insect wings and fiery saliva.

After X1 I expected a well known villain. Didn't even know who's Stryker, but X2 turned out as bext X-Men movie ever. Now when I want Sinister, Shadow King, Shi'ar, movie with Proteus maybe will surprise me, and will be good as X2. We can't wait, if Singer doesn't have time, bring on someone else, 2018 or go fu...self.
