I guess but her simply being blue wouldn't necessarily make her his mother because Beast is blue as well. Unless that's his daddy in the movie verse.

Lol Hank seems to be spending much of his time out of combat being non blue anyway so a blue Mystique walking around the Mansion would probably raise an alarm in Nightcrawler's head.

In any case, it seems to be an awful lot of justification to not have her be blue. Hope all these in-story reasons are not contrived in the final film.

At the end of the day, it's just a trailer. If FOX thinks that putting JLaw front in center is the way to go, perhaps they are right. They always say that the key to box office success is crossover demographic appeal (in this case, the female demographic). I guess this is the way to do it. We can only hope for a good end product!

Maybe this is a CinemaCon only trailer? Remember there was no Wolverine in this one.

New footage from X-Men Apocalypse looks totally epic. More action than any other X-Men movie before it, totally different feel to this one.

Don't get me wrong I love J.Law & I'll take anything But look at the first trailer, of all things the GP only remember "too much Raven", the second trailer "too much J.Law". The negativity will hurt the box office, more or less.

Jennifer was promoting her Titanic in Space movie.

Her new movie sounds interesting though.
