One last movie with the OT cast would be amazing, it was a huge draw for me seeing the OT cast in DoFP. If Apocalypse bombs they could continue with the OT cast, no complaints here.

APocalypse bombing isn't going to get another film with OT cast.it would cause fox to consider a reboot.

It would be amazing! I would just freak out of excitement! And it would open bigger doors for a possible cross-over with Gambit, Deadpool and the X-Force!

I was really happy that the theatre I was in was like 80% full! lol when I saw the premiere of dofp there were literally 12 people in the theatre...

Excited but I'm ready to hate it if there are cringe-worthy moments. I'm looking at you First Class.

What a production this has been. Going to the set, the studio, meeting the crew, seeing the stunts and a couple actors on wires...I am nervous guys.

I just saw it. I have some mixed reactions.

Overall...I really, really liked it. So many great things were done:

1.) The classic opening sequence with the standard X-Men score fare--sent chills down my spine
2.) The actors are soooooo good with what they're given
3.) It was nice seeing a different villain than Magneto for once
4.) Great balance of humor and action
5.) I was THRILLED with the arrivals of the new Scott, Jean and Storm
6.) And speaking of Jean....something she did left me speechless and our entire audience cheering

But sadly...there was a LOT wrong with this film and I can see why the critics are hammering it so badly. As a diehard X-Men fan I try to look at things in an unbiased way and yes...the reviews are right about a number of things. There were many, MANY missed opportunities, especially with a number of the characters. There were many times where I felt the film was about to embark on sheer greatness but it kept getting in its own way.

For the umpteenth time: get rid of that damn Kinberg.

Certain theaters.

Most showings in Canada are AVX now (reserved seating). It's only about $5 more and you don't have to worry about showing up in the theatre and lining up. It's a godsend especially for these blockbuster/genre movies. I can't imagine how we lived before this now. lol

Agreed. I totally enjoyed...I was so ready not to based on what I was hearing beforehand, but I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it a lot more than I was expecting too.

But I can see what the critics are complaining about too. I felt like it was all over the place, and Apocalypse himself was just getting in the way of everything that was making the movie work so well when it did.

I was nervous too!

But my advice is to just enjoy it!

As I've said before I wasn't super optimistic about this movie. The trailers did absolutely nothing for me, which was a downer because I'm such an X-Men fan. I've never been happier to be wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed that movie. Sure, objectively you could nitpick and dissect it, but for a fan like me it was a damn fine X-Men movie. Lot of really great moments throughout and I really look forward to where they go next with it.

Favorite part has to be, without a doubt, the [BLACKOUT]Weapon X Berserker Rage.[/BLACKOUT] Holy ****! I've waited so long to see that done right on the big screen. That moment alone sealed the deal for me. The finale was really well done too. Loved all Nightcrawler was doing. Wished Psylocke had a bit more to do, but overall I don't have too many complaints.

BTW, did anyone else think it kinda weird that Angel and Storm had the same haircut?
