Another follow up for the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters thing they did. Pictures from twitter:

Fox is reshifting the dates of it's 2 TBA X-men spin-offs coming in 2018

first one pushed back from January 12 to march 2-most likely i am betting Deadpool sequel

the other has been moved up from july 13 to june 29

assuming apocalypse box office doesn't change plans i bet the second one is New Mutants.

wow. You're so rich. :)

I have a gift card. Good for about 4 more viewings. I may end up using most of it for Apocalypse. Though, it helps that prices are pretty cheap in my area, compared to elsewhere I've read about.

Can't wait to see the movie again so I can finish my review.

You've already asked that question multiple times. We get it.

Wonder if we are going to have announcements for those two 2018 movies soon. It would be cool to have two X-films a year provided Gambit starts this year.

I really hope that first line was not directed at seeing as to how my last post was a not suppose to be posted again. I was trying to figure out how to use certain functions. And accidentally posted it again.

No need to be rude. And for the record, you don't have to reply to anything you don't want to. Why be rude? Geez.

And next time please tag/quote of whatever it is, if you're speaking directly to me. So I address it. Don't sub message! Thanks

How is it a sub message when I respond right after you? There's no need to quote something right above you. If you made an honest mistake, then it's no big deal. Normally repeatedly asking the same questions in different threads can be misinterpreted as trying to spam them, that's all.

The movie is okay. Way too much rehashing and unnecessary scenes (Weapon X, Quicksilvers first sequence, various retreads from other x-men films). I've been over singer for a while and this movie has done nothing to change that. I thought it was funny that they dissed x3 when this was easily the worst movie in the FC trilogy.

Found the X-Men Apoc discussion thread. :cwink:

Just got back from watching it. I was sooo scared it would be a disgusting mess and it was messy in the some spots but an overall fantastic film. Idk why some are complaining about it the way they are... hyperbole? I think every cbm had very major problems this year. I hated how contrived som parts of CW felt. I think that was an okay film but in no way did it outdo this film as far as really pushing the envelope.

I agree as some critics stated that there was a lot of retreading old ground but not in as much of a negative way as I imagined. Most of the complaints seem rather petty tbh...

I'll do a full review soon. So happy I liked it because there was many moments I was worried it would be terrible.

**** you critics for saying this film is as bad as you made it out to be.

It goes like this

X1 and x2 arr unwatchable for me. This is not the Xmen. And im not talking the suits. The power levels and action.... ugh i cant. No team battles...i jus cant

X3 is notoriously awful

O:w ... awful

FC. Awesome but not an Xmen movie
TW: not an xmen movie
DOFP: excellent but again not an Xmen movie

So its pretty easy decision to me.

It definitely felt like a Bryan Singer X-Men film. I really enjoyed it. I absolutely loved the Apoc battle. When Jean stepped up I got chills, along with the astral plane battle. The only thing I didn't like was that I wish they used an original 4 Horsemen instead of wasting time on the recruiting scenes. Would have liked more scenes with the students.

really hate the critics after them going after apocalypse.

The critics didn't go after Apocalypse. They just didn't like it. That's how it goes.

I disagree on that.some went after it because the X-men weren't "Having fun" and i saw that on wiki page.

Went after it implies they went out of their way to attack the film. They didn't. They saw it, they reviewed it and shared their opinion. Many of us, myself included, disagree with the negative reviews. At the end of the day, though, a review is just an opinion. Your assertions about this film are wildly off base and hyperbolic.

I'm glad the new crop of posters (most likely North American) that finally got to see it are liking the movie more.

I was worried that it was as bad as most of the first people who saw it on the boards were saying it was going to be.

The key here is to go in as spoiler-free as possible. I stopped reading spoilers and watching clips and tried to avoid reviews as much as possible about a month out. Paid off for me.

I agree this felt very much like an X-men movie. There were some parts that dragged (I can't remember which ones, but I'll know on a second viewing) but it helps that there's an actual team now.

I cant imagine a bryan singer xmen film with this cast being terrible or unwatchable. Im seeing it tuesday.

Wikipedia once said that Tim Howard was the United States Secretary of Defense during the World Cup. Wikipedia can be edited by anyone. Don't take it to heart. Just read the positive reviews (or don't read any of them, good lord).

The movie was plenty enjoyable. Many people are quite positive about the film here saying there's more that works than what doesn't. Chill. If you enjoyed it, then that's all that matters. Critics don't have an agenda though, get that thought out of your head. We don't need any of that BvS nonsense in here.
