It's always "This isn't the final form/costume!" excuse. This has happened so many times with different CBMs. These are probably the standard suits in the movie.

And let's not forget that these were the same people whining that the franchise needed to move away from the way Singer was doing things. Now it's a problem.

Theres no problem with embracing the comics more, that's what I want. But Good God, they couldn't have picked a more basic set of costumes. The early X Factor costumes are just plain looking. And its the not the costumes I want for the X-Men to wear in a film.

Uncanny X-Men #342. And I didn't waste my time looking up for those images, I wanted to help you but those pictures aren't just for you to see. Its for anyone who haven't read the comics and didn't know that the X-Men had a specific set of space costumes.

This is one of the difference between make a movie and make a product for the merchandising.
I prefer the first option.

I get that. I was referring to randomly reading the comics just to find the suits you're talking about.

I do not see problems, true to the comics and by the photo of jlaw in EW magazine he seems to be beautiful on the screen, so by me, okay
but I still believe it's just an outfit for space travel :woot:
 
Someone on screenrant predicted that bald guy in the orange space suite could possibly be Xavier/McAvoy. Hmm in 17 years we never seen Charles get on the action with the team so if he does suite up he’ll see Jean’s transformation up close.
 
Umm Dofp? I know he was just there sitting but there were plenty of action in his surroundings when the Sentinels attacked their hideout in China.
 
I don't like the final Apocalypse's costumes, they look very orrible, without grace.

For these ones: i have mixed opinion, too poor images for now.
If they would look like the Morrison's run, would be a NO for me. If they would be a similar X-Factor-suites, then YES.
X-Factor's Cyclops is my favourite (after than unused Alex Ross's design).

About the 'semplicity for the budget', this is not a valid argument for a movie like this, and show a poor knowledge of faschion world.
Some 10$ chinese-dresses are more complicated than stylists' suite.

So, you can talk about a bad choice to make simple uniform, but not budget.

Not the same he’s always away from the action. I get it that he’s will chair bound but it would be nice to see him out on the field with the team using his powers. I hope we get a Xavier vs Phoenix psychic battle or a scene with him using mental bolts or something. Xavier is quite powerful and if written into a action scene would be awesome.

That's kind of what happened in DoFP.

Anyway, I think it's a safe bet that Xavier will have some "action scenes", and will battle with Jean at some point. Also, if the rumours about the Skrulls are true...

Xavier will use his powers to control policemen to fight against the skrulls when the alien invasion happens.
 
Mystique looks a bit more realistic now Haha. Her skin looks real
