Look back at many even your own posts all implying that the "90's costumes" were the individualized ones when there in that picture you see these were not the only case and the X-Men go from having more matching to more diverse looking ones throughout the years. That is my point people pontificating about what they would prefer is all subjective. Not to mention most here that are blasting these costumes were hating one the ones at the end of Apocalypse too the hypocrisy is astounding. Just find anything to be outraged about.

Is it impossible for you not to be antagonistic? Gueststar was the one making the point about them being individualized versus the uniform of look of Dark Phoenix. No one else was really focusing on that, just that they preferred those costumes over these new ones.

Where's the hypocracy? The people posting currently that they hated those costumes are also saying they didn't want to see them return and what I recall of the criticisms at the time of Apocalypse's release were that people (like me) liked that they made an attempt, but disliked the execution. You're very selective in your interpretations and most your posts seem to be picking fights needlessly. Stop throwing stones in glass houses.

As far as the costumes go we already knew they would be the costumes (outside of a few speculating they were just flight suits) and the thing about Dark Phoenix not being listed on a website just seems like a non-story people out out for clickbait. More of a slow news day than a bad news day imo.

Fox has not made a mistake this time,even they were very quick to disprove this information.
the xmenfilms page fell into a fake news and propagated fake information without checking the facts.
However, It's time for Fox to start making a good marketing campaign for the movie., we are only 7 months from launch, and we have nothing so far, and this situation ends up giving people chances to take advantage of this and create false information with clear will of mess up.

CBR already debunked the rumour as Fox has stated the film was never on the site to begin with because it doesn’t have a website to link to.

It’s blind faith in rumours that gives them steam to begin with.

Xactly. @ErikLensherr, you shouldn't even posted it here, ifyou didn't want more people to act negatively about it. Its pretty obvious that it wasn't listed since the trailer isn't out yet.

No one said that, stop reaching. Those weren’t costumes they wore for a long period you know very well those are the basic trainee costumes unless you don’t read comics. They don’t need nor should they be dressed alike they are not military they are superhero’s who shot beams from their eyes, master the weather, and can move things with their mind nothing about them are normal. Tired of the excuses people make for mediocre movies yes DOFP was great, and yes I will hold judgement on this film until I see the movie but those costumes are not good at all even the the Morrison’s one in the comics looked better tailored and much color this isn’t a good translation of that costume at all only the yellow x is the same. They can and should be doing so much better and I’m hoping the trailer and movie is a welcome surprise because with what I’m seeing I have zero hype for this movie which is sad because they consist of my all time favorite heroes Storm and Nightcrawler but I won’t go down that road with the rumors of their role in the movie until I know for sure.

I don't know you, never interacted with you and don't care of your opinion. But to humor this post they don't need to be military to have uniforms. Do you think private schools are military outfits? I was going through the crew etc. and noticed Bryan Singer had an assistant .. Singer is noted as a producer but was he on set? It would be creepy if Kinberg was a front and Singer was secretly directing via Kinberg lmaol xD which is why we're all wondering why Fox hired Kinberg as Director

Not saying they had to be military to look the same it was a comparison. They do not have to look the same is my point because they are neither military(they are private school to an extent which is why they have the trainee uniform). Though they have shared similar costumes majority of them have been unique to the character and that’s all I was hoping to see in the movie besides this one shot is a bit more individuality. My entire post was not supposed to directed at you so I apologize for that I just put it all together with everyone’s complaints when I replied to yours. That was my fault and I can apologize. That’s why you haven’t seen me much because it was so much negativity I stayed away until there was something to talk about.
Yes I’m waiting to see more before just jumping on a hate train with no trailer and no movie I’m not going off of rumors until I see for myself but just based on the pics I was disappointed in those they weren't the costumes I was hoping for but they could basically be used for one scene so I won’t complain, yet.

Well if Bryan Singer is secretly directing this film... That gives me some thoughts that it wouldn't be such a bad film. But I doubt he's secretly directing it. Jessica Chastian dislikes Singer.

Singer's role in Dark Phoenix is close to non existent, just like in The Gifted. He wasn't on set. He was in the UK through most of the shoot.

This is kind of hilarious to me. Apparently, a single tweet went out without a poster for Dark Phoenix (as none has officially been released), and the whole nerdopshere of the internet spent July 4th debating whether the movie was "canned."

First Logan teaser: Less than 5 months before release.

First Deadpool 2 teaser: About exactly 6 months before release.


Both turned out to be hits. Look, I am not trying to get people enthused, but after Apocalypse Fox has been taking a more cautious (and thus far successful) tact to marketing these things. Everyone needs to chill for a minute, I still am fairly certain we'll get a teaser at SDCC which is in only two weeks.

It doesn't matter if they released the trailer 5 or 6 months before the theatrical release. This isn't gonna perform like Deadpool, Logan and Deadpool 2 (those films are good by the way). Xpecially if this is another Kinberg critical failure.

I do hope they release the trailer before Captain Marvel. Since the later would probably just steal Dark PhoeniX's thunder.
