Plans are never set in stone. Marvel moved around their entire schedule to fit Spider-Man in.
LOL how were they supposed to know about the merger since it happened without them knowing. It seems it happened right under their nose.Essentially making the best (or worst) out of it before the new owner chimes in. Let's get all the spin offs out there in more or less 18 months before Marvel Studios take charge and we lose our jobs... Good God, those people in charge of the last few Foxverse films won't be happy. Another example of the current Fox movies régime not thinking long term.
I doubt weather the sequels happen or not will affect the current upcoming movies. Fox movies don't really plan that far ahead so I wouldn't be surprised if all the upcoming movies end up feeling like standalone movies. So far Fox have never made and X-men related film that felt like it was setting up for 10 sequels in the future unlike other movies like, iron man 2, TASM2, and Age Of Ultron. Everyone of fox's films can be seen as a standalone without u feeling like u were advertised a bunch movies throughout its runtime and I doubt that would be changing now. So yeah I doubt any of their upcoming films are gonna end up feeling like they were "designed to start a franchise."they can thank Rupert Murdoch for that. But still cramming these films before Disney starts calling the shots in more or less 18 months isn't wise. Theyare risking themselves making films that are designed to be a start of a franchise that could potentially end up as an unology. And for their future bosses, Disney. It's not smart to make decisions that would just be a hindrance for Disney's other film division (Marvel Studios) in the long run. If they want to keep their jobs, they should make their future bosses happy now and don't give them a reason to question their skill when Disney starts overseeing things. And seriously, between a potential MCU X-Men film and a Jamie Madrox that Feige didn't have a say... Its pretty obvious who would be the priority in 1 year and a half. What else more if the deal is approved earlier? Disney is paying a lot of money and they will do what's best for their future. And I doubt releasing New Mutants Two, Remy, Laura and Jamie would be at the top of their priorities.
IT'S less certainty and more common sense. No way Marvel brings Singer-Men into the MCU let alone let's that franchise continue. Btw, I made a thread about this subjectPsylockolussus you shouldnt talk with such certainty about what Marvel will or wont do. We dont know their plans for the X-Men nor do we not know they dont want to do spin offs and such. For all we know these talks have been going on for a while and theyve been collaborating on these projects together. This merger didnt just come about. I wouldnt be surprised if Marvel arent already in someway involved with Fox and what theyre doing. Wait and see dont jump to conclusions.

Which is all the more reason why Fantastic Four will be coming soon. In Phase 4Because Spider-Man doesnt need world building like the X-Men and his last movie was mediocre instead of flat out awful like F4.
I agree about the mainline films. But nothing else about these spinoffs is any indication that its in that current timeline especially as Deadpool has been quite ambiguous with it. New Mutants, Gambit, Deadpool, X-Force, Multiple Man all could be developed with the intention to join Marvel and could be the beginning of the reboot, while Dark Phoenix will most likely be the last in the Singer X-Verse. Like I said these acquisition plans between Disney and Fox didnt just happen this year, theres been talks for a while and you can tell now when Kevin, Lauren etc have mentioned it in the past. So right now Fox and Disney could easily be collaborating on current movies to then join the Marvel world.IT'S less certainty and more common sense. Marvel is not going to incorporate the FOXverse into the MCU. That would be far more complicated and convoluted than it would be to just flat out reboot it.
I think so too. I think we might see his name pop up in the X-Men movies from here on out.Bet you Feige will producer the final film in the Fox series.
I dont think anyone was arguing that. Though it can incorporated in a way by saying it was one of the multiverses that was mentioned in Doctor Strange. The DC shows pulled that off.
I could see the FOX movies being part of the multiverses, sure.
But I don't think they are going to want to have X-Men be purely alternate universe characters. That would make crossovers too complicated and convoluted than just having them be part of the same world.
The Dark Phoenix sequel is already shot and coming out in 2019. Yall can quote me on that...

Even if Marvel chose this multiverse direction, it means no Logan cause Jackman retired and also no Emma Frost, Alex, Apocalypse, Angel and others. And a messy timeline as a bonus. So no, I don't think they'll go with this multiverse thing at all...
Deadpool is joining the MCU, guys.. Even Marvel isn't crazy enough to recast Reynolds:
"We're also looking forward to expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe to include X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool," Iger confirmed

Why would he want to coproduce a Fox Verse film in the first place especially the final one in the series? Sorry not sorry, but the Foxverse was never his baby compare to the MCU, for him to coproduce the final one. So I really doubt it. Most likely, he would just produce a X-Men film under the MCU not Fox.
Uh, no. Because Iger specifically mentioned continuing DP films as R-Rated in another interviewIt also says, X-Men and F4. So that means they wont recast them?
