I think just concept art that didn't end up being a reality. Except maybe for Angel's concept? Can't remember when that surfaced exactly.

Would be cool to see some concept art for what the Shi'ar costumes will look like.

Chances are when they released that apocalypse photo they already knew what colour he was and so were not really taking notice of the lighting effect that was part of the scene anyway, but fans being fans you are gonna get an uproar if something looks a little off.

Chances are when they released that apocalypse photo they already knew what colour he was and so were not really taking notice of the lighting effect that was part of the scene anyway, but fans being fans you are gonna get an uproar if something looks a little off.

That photo with purple lighting (was it before the teleportation bubble was added in post-prod) damaged the movie.

Once people made Ivan Ooze comparisons, the film never really recovered, it just gave the Fox-haters tons of ammunition. For the online film fans, it was a really bad sign that the film was going to be substandard.

I'm guessing this is why Fox is holding off on immediately releasing stuff from the Dark Phoenix set. Kinberg's career depends on this movie.

The shooting of the next film, X-Men started Tuesday in Montreal and the least we can say is that the hollywood blockbuster doesn’t do things by half. Already, two major locations have been constructed around the studios MELS for the purposes of filming, learned The Newspaper.

These impressive locations you’re likely to see both sides of the studios MELS, near the Bonaventure expressway, are not without reminding us of the huge temporary structure that Fox had built in the same place in the summer of 2013 by stacking several tens of containers one on the other for the filming of X-Men : Days of future past. This studio outside of 50 feet of height had been used for the filming of some important scenes of the film.

This time, two different sets were built on each side of the building of the studios MELS. Decorated with several flags, one of these sets would be a replica of the united Nations headquarters, according to information The Newspaper has gathered.

Studio outside is a reproduction of a village, with streets and houses. In addition to having these two studios outside, the production of the next X-Men (titled X-Men : Dark Phoenix) has established its headquarters in the premises of the studios MELS, where there will be a large part of the filming.

As was the case for the previous two movies of the saga who have been shot in Montréal in 2013 and in 2015, the team of X-Men : Dark Phoenix will be installed in Montreal throughout the summer – the shooting must come to an end in October.

Several of the stars of the saga have already arrived in Montreal, including James McAvoy, Sophie Turner, Nicholas Hoult, and Alexandra Shipp. Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender are also expected in the city later this summer.

The production budget of X-Men : Dark Phoenix has not been revealed, but it should be similar to those of the previous films of the saga, to be approximately$ 200 Million. Filmed in Montreal, respectively, in 2013 and in 2015, the movie X-Men : Days of future past and X-Men : Apocalypse have generated several million dollars in direct benefits and indirect for the metropolis and had done work of hundreds of technicians in quebec. It is expected that the filming of X-Men : Dark Phoenix should have a similar impact on the film industry in Quebec.

If only, but his career has survived being a writer for TLS and being a writer/producer/last minute director for Fant4stic and he came out of those disasters stronger than ever what with being rewarded the director role.

why would they do dr jean grey that is invention of singer.

if someone addresses un it's probally xavier.you could have situation where xavier addresses un and sh'iar end up attacking.

Jean having an interest in medicine at least gives her some development outside of her powerset.

I'm not opposed to it being brought back.

Can't please everyone, but hey last time she was shown to be a doctor was X1 and since then its not really been a thing so even if nothing led to it then it probably wouldn't be one of those things they really felt they needed to show.

Its like saying we need to lead up to cyclops having that big bulky visor thing in X1, now they could do that... or they could do it differently.
