That sounds like the a-hole kind of characterization of Batman that the member here, The Batman, loathes.

If it's more like DKR Batman, I can accept it. If its like the Batjerk we saw in 90's-00's comic books...

I am fine with the characterization if it leads to an arc of him visibly changing into a less mopey person after his interaction with Supes. But this version of Supes is just as mopey he is. So I am not holding my breath.

Also...this, basically.

Even DKR Batman maintained the no-kill code famously with the rubber bullets scene though.

I guess I'm open to it if the arc is executed well, but I'm still not 100% sold that we'll be seeing Batman cold-bloodedly killing people in the movie.

I think Roven was referring to Batman being more brutal by doing stuff like branding criminals with a hot iron and Devin Faraci took what Roven said literally.

My favorite scenes of the two live action movie Jokers.

The branding is still too far for me even if he isn't killing people. Even DKR Batman, which is clearly what they're drawing on, wasn't that sadistic. I like the idea of Batman starting out as a cynical bastard and being brought back to a place of hope through his interaction with Superman, but it looks like they're doubling down too much on how violent and brutal he is initially.

So apparently this might be Junkie XL's new Batman theme:

I don't know if I've ever mentioned this here, but I'm a musician and film scoring is something that I've recently been trying to get more serious about (just scored my first short film last year). I thought it'd be a fun exercise for me to cobble together the theme with those bits and pieces and try to orchestrate something.

Here it is:

This is by no means perfect, the mix is still pretty rough, I might work on it some more- but figured I'd just post for feedback. I'm gonna post it in the score thread in the BvS forums too.

Being honest, after seeing the devestation of Superman's fight against Zod, hearing the body count and all - I want Bats to beat the **** out of Supes. That's my unfiltered gut response. Depending on how they chose to direct his violent streak, and the way its used in the story, I might be alright with it. Comes down to execution and intent, really.

He should beat the **** out of Supes for making out with Lois over 100 acres of human ash.

I don't know... how much do we REALLY know about Lois... she could be spreading all sorts of STDs.

Superman is immune, that's why he's the perfect match for her.

Yeah, it was just a figure of speech on his part, meaning he's a rough customer.

Yeah I never really saw DKR Batman as a jerk. Superman annoyed me more in that being a Government zombie errand boy who forced his own friends to retire, and in Oliver's case ripped his arm off. Batman was doing what needed to be done because the city was in hell. And as Batlobster said he still had his no-kill policy.

Although the city was in hell because he threw in the towel for 10 years and let everything in Gotham go to crap. So in that he regard he could be seen as a *****e.

I have no doubt that Batfleck is gonna chew him out for all the collateral damage

Terrio probably has some awesome dialogue lined up

That just shows that Miller wrote Superman how he wanted him, the Superman in DKR is not Superman. I actually think they're both jerks in that story, some of the inner monologue stuff from both has always made me cringe.

Controversial opinion: I am not a fan of most of the character design for the Arkham games. Especially some of the villains like Harley Quinn, Talia, Killer Croc, Bane (pre-AO), Riddler. I also dislike Eminem Robin.

What do you say?

That's not really a controversial opinion. I feel like there's a good number of people who aren't crazy about a lot of the Arkham character designs.

They amped up Croc and Bane because they make better game bosses that way. I'm fine with what they did because they managed to cramp so many great villains into those games. Hell, Professor Pyg is one of my favorite characters in Arkham Knight.

That's not really controversial. I see that a fair bit on-line. What's your problem with Talia's design though?

AO had the best designs for the characters I think. Gordon didn't look like a beefcake. The women didn't have their boobs hanging out of their costumes.

The only game that I played was AK, and I had no problem with any of the character designs. I thought Scarecrow looked (and sounded) incredible, it is the best version of the character that I have come across.

i don't like her model. She doesn't look ethnically ambiguous, favoring a central Asian phenotype. She looks like a chick from LA.

Don't you mean post AO?
Bane appears in Arkham Knight?

Too bad they were wasted as bosses.
All you did with Croc is walk slow, run when he break platforms, and have fun by dropping him in the water with a batarang. Until the explosive gel is used to drop him down.
And Bane's battle was a waste, just another titan, with thugs on the side, difference being is you see Batman take his Venom hoses off one by one.
Thinking about it, it's a wonder Bane did not shrink again after Batman disconnecting all the venom hoses.

Killer Croc's Arkham Knight design was horrible.
