Awesome, awesome episode. Loved it to bits. Green K and all.
Thanks for all the fantastic gifs Kai.
It was the phantom from the season premiere, Zod.
It wasn't Zod... Zod's trapped in the crystal...
as for this new guy, project Aries, I think he might be the Bizzaro we'll be seeing... cuz like, in the TV comic Justice and Doom, there's a bad guy with the powers of Clark... keep that in mind...

My God why does everything in here and the SR boards have to be SV vs SR with you guys. This **** is really getting old. SV is a great show and does justice to Superman IMO and so did the other project IMO. If you think SV borrowed stuff from the movie then fine, the movie borrowed almost the whole Kent farm scene from them. Just let it go already why can't we talk about a SV show or Tom Welling as Superman with out bringing up the movie.Nope, I just think that they never would have done this "recharging" scene if it wasn't in SR. Plus, they've exaggerated Clark's vulnerability to Kryptonite in this episode, another nod to SR. Wasn't it last week's episode that had Clark writhing in pain on the floor because of a meteor rock the size of someone's fist? Now, all of a sudden he's able to crawl through spaces surrounded by Kryptonite?
another great epi to rack up for season 6.5.
-this is what will happen I think: Project Aries (otherwise known as Helo) will be the result of all of Lex's work with the Brainiac Vaccine and Kryptofreaks, to create the perfect weapon... Garenteed that in the finale (appropriately titled) that our last Phantom is going to find Aries, and possess him. Leading to the end of the Phantom Hunt, and the reopening of the fortress.
my only comment about this episode, is that Lana, shot the locks off of Lex's brief case, on a glass desk. Did anyone notice that? Is that even possible? I'm pretty sure that the desk would have shattered.
great epi.
Why don't people actually *read* a thread before making a statement like this?-clark.....kryptonite. smallville fans complaining about that in SR now when it is in SV .....nothhing. way to go my friends.

...about the K effects... well, they haven't been very consistent in Smallville, so I wouldn't call that a nod either.
...SV has never been consistent with the way they portray the effects of Kryptonite on Clark, unfortunately. He's actually *injested* the stuff and lived. It's dumb; I agree. But it has ZERO to do with the equally lame portrayals of K on Superman in SR. Guess we can chalk it up to artistic license, and what's required in the plot - not that it makes it right.
...Smallville in and of itself has had inconsistencies in the effects of Kryptonite on Clark. It's due to having different writers on serialized TV, it's no "nod" to SR.
As has already been pointed out, SV is notoriously inconsistent with the severity of how green K affects Clark. The green K effect is directly proportional to how disabled the story needs Clark to be.
In Nemisis, Clark was weakened by the Kryptonite so much he had trouble walking. He couldn't break the chains, push rocks away, or lift a freakin' island. LOL The caves were covered with Kryptonite DUST, which was pointed out when Chloe wiped it off the shoulder of one of he rescue workers. It's a flaw of the show, which I freely admit. ...it's probably one of the biggest nitpicks of the show, next to the clichés of characters being serendipitously knocked out when Clark is doing his thing, or Lex being shot or kidnapped. That sort of stuff.
I think she was just saying the name of the premiere episode, which was Zod.
You're right... how DID meteor rock get all over tunnels that were so far underground? Why don't people actually *read* a thread before making a statement like this?

What people *should* be complaining about is how in the world Kryptonite would get that far underground? THAT didn't make sense, not the effects of the K *dust* on Clark.
I knew that Lionel was trying to protect Clark by threating Lana. I didn't think that they would turn Lionel back into the MB. It would have been too predictable.
Yeah but someone who is 100% good wouldn't feed a person to the lions. Which is what Lionel did. He knew what his son did to her. He knew what she would be trapped in. And he didn't give a damn.
