Their mouth is indeed different from each other, but their hands, proportions and garment details are the same.

Not saying you're wrong I'm saying that your claim hasn't been proven right or wrong and is merely an assumption at this point.
So far as their bodies looking the same that is pretty irrelevant in Marvel Cosmic, everything is basically humanoid so you really do need to put weight on the slight, or not so slight differences.

Nose, mouth and facial structures are completely different between the Chitauri and The Other. The garment details between The Other and the Chitauri are as similar as between The Other and Thanos. Thematically similar but stylistically different.

I'm not going to give more weight to my theory but say I'm The Other and I enslave an army of Chitauri my alien Goebbels would probably push to have my armies garment be reflective of my own military fashion sensibilities.

Could the fluid in the vial be same thing as the zodiac vial. The one in the Peggy Carter One-Shot????

Been while since I saw it. There was one correct?

So Phil got a mixed cocktail of alien blood and other stuff to stay alive, while Skye, the all out alien, took it like a champ... Maybe even will make her stronger/super now.

That stuff played a part in the comicbook lead in to Captain America TWS.
Although it was left as ambiguous it comes off more as a biological/chemical weapon more than an "enhancement" serum.

I'm a bit bummed out that they only took one measly vial!

I'm sure any self respecting science type, even under extreme duress, would grab all he can, if not just to sate his curiosity it would be useful to study the mysterious goop you just shot up your friends arm!!!

It's complete annihilation is probably to prevent future plot holes that could be fixed by "hey let's just go get more of that GH", but if it ends up having such an effect on Skye then why hasn't Coulson shown any signs of transcending humanity?

because he isn't aware of it? they fixed his memory so that he doesn't remember his abilities?

Could be, or maybe it just helps activate latent powers you have. So whatever made Skye an 084, and whatever closed the floodgates on that, the GH serum will undo.

I sort of rather Coulson not be a super.

Plus I want it addressed how it is that he has chest scars from the stabbing but no scar going around his head from that awful surgery. I'm still not sure if he is even in his own body.

This is Kree......do not believe anymore that Skye is Julia or Jessica aka spider woman
I'm not sold on Kree.....going back to early episodes...alien writing on the walls.....

We don't really know if that memory of having his head opened up is real or a false memory. maybe it's fake too? I find it odd that Fury let them go to this place. He had the fighters escorting them. Wouldn't answer Coulton's call. Maybe we get some answers in CA:TWS?

To me, it looked like a leprechaun to me!

You win.

I've enjoyed this since ep 1 but damn have they stepped their game up these past couple of episodes. I can now totally see them going the route that Skye is Kree.

I initially had a feeling that this base was the "bad side" of shield that is going to be brought to life in Cap2. All the secrecy around it and everything makes it seem like it will have to come up again in the future.

I keep seeing theories of Skye possibly becoming Ms. Marvel since the dude in the tube is supposedly Kree, but I hope to god that is not what is going to happen. Yeah sure, you can give Skye powers but don't turn her into Ms. Marvel. :( Still holding hope to see Carol and Jess in the MCU soon.

She would be such a disappointing substitute for Carol Danvers. I don't want to see her turn out to be Jessica Drew OR Carol, tbh. Not that I don't like Skye, but I'd rather those marquee characters get their proper introductions to the MCU, not masquerade around as another character just to keep it a secret on the show.

I'm with you bud, it be a disservice to the character to be relegated to network television instead of at the forefront of the cinematic universe. It be akin to using the medium to introduce T'Challa.

That's the annoying part of it that really makes me apprehensive about wanting any comic characters in the show, I rather they just focus on the core group and good stories without bringing characters with great potential down with these tactics.

I should put in my cursory Deathlok complaint in now.

They couldn't help but have to make fun of the name just to show us how clever and self-aware they are.
That was cute but it irked me because they do it in the midst of this important interrogation and instead of leading into the question they decide to make a cheap joke and then like a kid with ADHD they just move onto the next thing without sparring a thought for the original line of questioning.

The setup with the exploding lab was a typical plot device used to make whatever macguffin the writers have concocted a one-off that can't ever be used again. The next time a character gets injured they don't want the audience to say, "Well, why don't they just use the phlebotinum that healed Skye?" It's all been blown up so they have an automatic pass.

Skye shouldn't get any "powers" from the alien goop because Coulson didn't. Arguably, Coulson should be much more likely to have super-powered side effects because he was infused with more than just the alien blood/juices/ichor. The alien autopsy victim (complete with a Y-incision) could be a Kree, I suppose, though AOS might not be allowed to touch such an important race. His name could be "Genis H. Vell", but that's very unlikely. :funny:

I thought it was funny: "Sounds like an 80's wrestler".:hehe:

Sounds more like a wrestling move but regardless it was a cute bit of humour that they feel needs to be directed at any codename but they honestly could have went back to interrogating about the Deathlok Project.

The show constantly creates more questions then it answers, it's fine when it is well choreographed but in that instance it was lamely executed.

Yeah that's what I figured, but I thought this would be curtailed by the fact that it has nefarious roots and the benefits might not outweigh the implications of using it.
More of that "tune in next week and find out" stuff. But the thing is at the end of the day, even with that lab blown to smithereens all that you need to do at this point is identify the alien race and you've got the key to a new formula... And if they never address the alien or whatever it was that will be greatly disappointing.

I've seen people around here reach further than that so who knows. But if it has no side-effects then what's the big deal, it just turns into this ethical one-off mcguffin that never led into anything else? That be more awful than predicted.

I'd be fine with Skye turning out to be a bargain basement version of either one of those since neither is high on my list of favorite characters. Joss Whedon has expressed some antipathy towards Ms./Captain Marvel for whatever reason, so using her in warped fashion in AOS could be a way to scuttle plans for her in the MCU. Since I adore Mar-Vell and I'm a big fan of Monica Rambeau, that would be A-OK with me.

On a somewhat related note, the bod in the pod made me think of Yon-Rogg, Mar-Vell's nemesis and commander who died on Earth. I'm sure it's not him but he's the first dead Kree whose name popped into my head. The body actually looks like an Engineer from Prometheus, only blue instead of white. (Jonathan Frakes hosted an Alien Autopsy special and also directed an episode of AOS. The alien body has been autopsied. Coincidence?)

My first thought at the G.H. initials was Grey Hulk.:o

That's what sucks about having characters dear to your heart. Like, I respect Vision as a character, and I do think he's really cool but I don't mind the whole JARVIS/Vision thing that's apparently going to happen at all. You just don't wanna see your favorite characters not portrayed as what made you love them in the first place. Ala Mandarin twist. But like, dude imagine if they changed huge character traits of say...Harry Potter or something. I get that the MCU is a different universe but I would at least love to see Carol Danvers portrayed in her full glory, especially with the major major respect she's been getting the past year or two as Captain Marvel ( and about to get bigger!), and the love she's already had as Ms. Marvel.
