My favorite Superman image of all time. Everything I love about Superman is somehow captured in this panel. If they could show a moment like this in all it's glory, I think I could actually get back into this new franchise.

In a time when superhero movies are expected to have sequels, I have zero issues with a part of the payoff coming in the next movie.(if I were one of the people who had an issue with Superman not seeing a 'public' reaction at the end. I'm not because we got a sample and I can extrapolate )

It may not fit the critical approach to filmmaking as a solo entry but if the story is wider reaching, there's nothing wrong with how it was done in MoS.

No one seemed to have a problem with how Nolan and Goyer waited till making "TDK" before showing the full ramifications of Bruce's actions as Batman in the series.

We had one scene, at the very end of BB, with Gordon explaining on how things are different, but we really don't see it until the beginning montage of TDK.

This Batman needs his Own black and white movie, (like Sin City). Plus, this upcoming movie with three of them seems a bit clunky too.

I don't know why but I really have a strong feeling that we will get something like this.

Jake Gyllenhall as Dick Grayson/Nightwing... easy

Yes, they waited until TDK for the full ramifications to be shown.

However, BB never promised us a look at how the public would react to Batman. It promised it would show us that the mob would be frightened and the villains would be provoked, but it did not have a bunch of characters literally asking questions like, "Do you have any idea how people would react to this?" BB gives us what it promised to show: a bunch of criminals getting scared. It does, however, at least go a step further than MOS by showing how the press reacts to Batman, and at the end having Gordon say there is hope on the streets again thanks to him.

For MOS, how the public will define Superman defines how he grows up. It should remain a relevant part of the story. Which is why I'm also glad BvS is making up for it.

Just a disclaimer: I like Man of Steel. I'm sorry if I come off as overly harsh on it sometimes.

So my friend went to some investor event for the movie last night. He got pics with a couple of the actors, and he's not one to lie. Anyway, he said they showed a few clips. He didn't go into too much detail, but said they showed Affleck in the armor, and it looked good. But he did offer a couple of spoilers, so take them for what it's worth.

They haven't filmed the finale yet

They showed a clip of Lex stealing Zod's body. Lex had long hair

Clips of Batman fighting in the desert

Clips of people hating Superman because of the Metropolis destruction, which we knew from set pics

Can you show us the pictures he got with the actors?

Whatever happened to the train and the Narrows in Batman Begins? They were like gone in Knight and Rises.

Snyder's babysitter just told me they were hiring Will Ferrell to play Barry Allen.

They got rid of the Narrows after Begins storywise...and here's the trains.

Number one seems interesting to me. :shr:

I could see Lex instanting wanting to conduct testing on the body of Zod to see how he can possibly try and figure out Superman's secrets. I like this angle - if true.

I don't want to post his pictures here because I'm not sure if he signed a NDA, but I'll PM them to you as proof.

I would not oppose to that.

They're not pictures of the footage. Obviously he couldn't take pictures of that. Just a couple of him with the actors.

Here we go again, boys...

I honestly have no reason to lie, but nor do I really care if anyone believes it. I'm just passing along what I was told.
