I don't care about race either.

The reason I liked John Stewart is because I thought he was badass in JLTAS as a kid and I still think he can be that way. The only other GL I like is Kilowog and Guy.

If the Green Lantern rumor about him not being introduced until at the end of Justice League part 1 is true that means at the time being our Justice League cast is complete

My initial thoughts
1) Finally..no more speculation...on to some facts.
2) Suicide Squad movie...We knew this was going to happen. I am not a fan of the characters so this will be an obligatory go see as I support superhero movies.
3) Wonder Woman is getting her own movie...time to retire that Raccoon meme. A superhero movie starring a female superhero. A first in the modern era and it's fitting that it's WW.
4) Justice League Part One and Part Two...dear God...for them to split the movie into two parts means it's huge. If they adapt a big comic book cross over.....whoa
5) I saw nothing that said we wouldn't see Martian Manhunter in Justice League.
6) The Flash...interesting casting...im sure someone is upset it's not Aaron Paul. I'll give him a chance. Not to many were backing Gustin when he was cast either.
7) The Shazam movie we knew was going to happen.
8) Zack Snyder is doing both parts of JL...and more than likely Chris Terrio is writing both parts.
9) A Cyborg movie...interesting. A minority hero spinning out of the JL movies. That's shots fired right there.
10) and a GL movie...I'm willing to bet there's a GL on that JL team.

Do we not include significant screen time for Falcon and Iron Patriot? How about Human Torch with Michael B. Jordan? Perry White is a known character... etc. I think there have been quite a few large roles for black men. White guys and black guys have been well presented with superhero films. I have to say that women and other races and ethnicity types seem to be lacking though like Asians and Latinos.

Oh ya, his attitude was awesome. Mostly militant and serious, a firm decision maker too. It made you appreciate when they had these little moments where he could be funny and charming without acting like a goof.

Oh I know. I was just making side point about representation. I guess another side of perspective I should consider is, to imagine is being a black kid and seeing everything on tv/movies as the majority population. When seeing a superhero like GL (Stewart) or Cyborg it would be a big moment. That's why a lot of young black kids look up to basketball players in a league mostly black and rappers who are also mostly black. It will be a good thing for them to have superhero's to look up to as well
