In terms of the El Miyambe 'scoop' yeah that was from a 2011 script ... one that was before the New 52 Suicide Squad was revealed, which included Harley Quinn. So I wouldn't trust that that roster is the one the current people in charge are wanting to push.

I mean, look at the animated movie Suicide Squad roster from Assault on Arkham.

... no Vixen, Jaculi, Multiplex, Blockbuster, etc. Those characters are so irrelevant to the grand scheme of things, I just don't see them being used.

I think Hardy could be any 3 of those guys mentioned, but I agree about Will, in my mind it's Black Manta or bust. Maybe it's because I love Black Manta though and just really want to see him.....

Also Will as Manta would really help sell the Aquaman movie

If they end up having Manta as the villain I think they should cast somebody who isnt famous, or relative newcomer.

Also Deathstroke well we all know how big of a player he's been in TV, animated films, games. Hell remember Arkham Origins ending? Also Manta will be involve in the Throne of Atlantis film.

My biggest fear is Hardy is Captain Boomerang or Deadshot. Hardy is a fighter and those guys aren't. That's why having Hardy as Deathstroke is perfect IMO.

I don't know why people think Hardy is some great fighter in real life because he's played physical characters... In the making of Warrior, both he and the trainers outright say they made Tom's character take everyone out quickly not just because it suited his character, but because Tom's not that good at it all in real life (as opposed to Edgerton, who got longer fights because it suited the character... and because he's a black belt in karate or something in real life).

When it comes to Cheetah, she has the tail, and nails. She is also acrobatic.

An anonymous extra joined WILX News 10, claiming that the scene being shot at an Art Museum on Michigan State University campus will feature a physical altercation between Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor. They also say there will be fireworks, paparazzi and "heavy special effects." A military presence will be expected, according to the reporter because of the altercation between Waye and Luthor (so...probably more than just some pushing and shoving on the red carpet).

Most interestingly, though, Robin reportedly appears in the script...and is a female. This led the reporter to reiterate persistent rumors that The Hunger Games's Jena Malone could be playing Carrie Kelley in the film, the female Robin from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.

Thanks, but this is already being talked about in the "News" thread.
Don't believe the Robin rumors though, all they have to go on is the fact that she has red hair and did a set visit a few months ago.

Yeah, that's a thing.

Superheroes by their nature, and all too tight costumes made of leather and rubber inspire many in the fetish crowd. Even now, I see men out at clubs, revealing their bare chests, dressed up as Batman and Superman and fighting each other. Same with women and men at festivals and clubs who dress in very revealing rubber outfits like their favorite superhero.

By the time BvS bows in theaters, I think many of the surprises in the movie will already be spoiled. If there is a female Robin I hope its a layered portrayal, not merely a walk-on cameo just there for fan-service.

There are several WB/DC movies in development not on that list. Doesn't mean they might not happen.

Momoa is a scary badass mofo. Black Manta is supposed to appear as a viable threat to him. Black Manta is pure menace and rage tempered by his own cold calculating intelligence. Black Manta is the man who killed Aquaman's infant son and is Aquaman's greatest enemy. I wouldn't be able to take Smith seriously.

-Idris Elba pull it off but I'd prefer him find a hero to play in one of the universes. Still he might not want to play a hero and Manta would be a good choice.
-Common from Hell on wheels is pretty good and I could see him as Black Manta. He can be menacing, wrathful, and cold. I can also see him going up against an enraged Momoa. He'd be cheaper too.
-Lennie James. I feel like he could carry the same presence Black Manta has in the comics even better the Elba or Common could. The flip side is that he would be noticeably older but that hasn't made Slade any less dangerous.

Will Smith is the better actor but his presence would be drowned out by Momoa if they were on screen together because if there is one thing Momoa can do its own the stage.
