Oh, boy. Time for more complaints from everyone.

"So dis iz da Justice League I guessss!!!!"
I mean in all honesty if they keep announcing more characters (like MM, Flash etc) then I think it's pretty safe to let go of the idea that this is Superman/Batman.

I'm still pretty sure Superman and Batman will be the focal characters but it's possible that this has turned (or always was) a Justice League film.

Complaining at this point would seem a bit futile. Despite my reservations it's hard not to get excited for this. Snyder handled Watchmen great and I do trust that he'd be able to balance the screen time for these characters pretty well if given the chance.

To change the pace of things here. Apparently Hawkman might be in BvS according to El Mayimbe.

I think he's suggesting that's the role Mimosa is auditioning for.

Hooray for another character with an insanely complicated and contradictory background being shoehorned in if true.

le sigh...I'm going to hold off on the belly aching for now. It may come later, but for now I think that this may be like Superman fighting the Justice League that's not really the Justice League because they haven't become friends yet. *shrugs*.

Well, that's five GREAT villains with amazing potential.

Even the second stringers are some very interesting and compelling villains in their own right. Bizzaro, Parasite and Metallo are all credible threats with interesting backstories. And Toyman is definitely nothing to sneeze at, especially the more modern versions of the character.

There's also:
Intergang, Mxyzptlk, Mongul, Silver Banshee, Maxima, The Prankster, Eradicator, Hank Henshaw (Cyborg Superman), Livewire, Lobo and Ultra Humanite.

Superman has fantastic rogues. He probably has some of the best and most interesting and unique villains in comics.

All Bizarro is known for is being this:

[YT]uydWjLtHdtE[/YT]

The minute he opens his mouth no one can take him seriously even me. Parasite and Metallo are pretty good characters. The Earth One take on Parasite was interesting. Toyman is too much like a Batman villain.

Ultra Humanite's a Superman villain?

Now 'some site' will probably write a story about that tweet ... and el maybe will go there and say that they're morons for taking what he said in a tweet as a 'rumor'.

Hawkman ... I don't have a problem with Hawkman.

... and I won't complain about multiple heroes possibly having some role ... until I see the finished product.

That is your preconceive notion on Bizarro. The director could make him act like Hulk in the Avengers. or man in emotional pain due to the fact that he's turning into a monster.

I agree, especially about Watchmen ... wait and see, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't exciting to maybe see some of these characters on the big screen and figure the main two will probably be the big focus for 'this' movie.

I don't know that it CHANGED from being Batman/Superman to Justice League. I think the film is a way to show Batman and Superman as the heroes starting up JL and as threats worsen they recruit other heroes. I'd say the majority of the film will focus on Batman and Superman, in order to properly set up the league.

Trying to stay positive about all this. I think it's very possible that Superman's presence has caused all these other beings to come out of the woodwork. My question is why not bring in GL. This seems like something the corps would be involved with.

I guess we will be hearing the main news of bigger heroes and Lex later. It's gonna be months of teasing first :o

Well if El Mayimbe says it, it must be true.

Not necessarily, who's to say that this isn't DC's way of world-building? Much like what Marvel did with IM2. At the end of the day, we won't know until details of the story start popping up. I'd wait until we (over)analyze trailers and set pictures to see if this is JL Begins, or MOS sequel.

Yes let's bring in GL. We have Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, & Martian Manhunter with Superman. Why not add GL while we're at it?

True...true. You know though to be honest I'm not too worried about all these additions. My main problem was the movie would end up being a Batman movie, but I can't see that happening now. It could still happen, but if any of these rumors are to be believed then the focus might not be totally on Superman, but at least it won't be dominated by Batman.

Well if El Mayimbe says it, it must be true.

He may not always be right, but he's had more legit scoops than what I've seen elsewhere to be fair. If it was up to some of the scoopers, Superman would be played by American only Jon Hamm and in his mid 30's instead of a British Cavill :p Oh and Jonah Nolan would be directing... although that fake rumor would probably make some Snyder haters happy :D

lol...considering everyone else is getting tossed in then we should see somebody with a green ring on their finger.
This is potentially the mother of all cluster****s.:o
With WB it's always like this. I'm going to treat this movie just as I did MOS. I won't get too excited and I will keep my expectations very low.

Ya, pure speculation but it seems Batman and Superman will have equal billing. They will probably begin film with them sizing eachother up. Perhaps Batman has been watching the developments of heroes as Superman arrived, and together they will form league by bringing in recruits... of course as the threat of serious villains increase. Lex could be the guy suspicious of these heroes and view them as unauthorized vigilantes with powers that can be threat to national security, which some of the public will agree with. Good stuff ahead if done correctly.

At least we know the trailer will be pretty freaking badass with all of these characters involved.

Your wrong when it comes to xmen 2 and spider-man 2. they massively upped the anty. the action in both dwarfed the action in first movies.

X-Men had the whole Magneto's plan to transform people into mutants, and the battle on top of the Statue of Liberty sequence which was over-the-top and grandiose to me. Compared to X2, where it was about battling Stryker's plan to kill every mutant through a cerebro knock-off. It felt more intimate considering that it focused on the consequences of the mutants' reveal. Same with Spider-Man 2 (the Green Goblin sequences were easily much more grandiose than Otto's).

I consider the train fight in SM2 to be large and over the top, X2 had a LOT of action throughout, TDK..had a pretty big brawl near the end, but the action was very brief, infrequent, and..not that great.

2/3s are good SEQUELS-that really expand upon the ideas of the original. TDK did to an extent, but I feel like it's more of an awesome stand-alone, with TDKR being the "true" sequel.

I didn't think X2 was action packed considering that their story continued the ideological battle between Xavier and Magneto and extended it to include consequences, such as Stryker having plans into place to exterminate mutants. Same with Spider-Man 2 and TDK (though I agree in that TDKR feels more like a true sequel due to connections). I thought both sequels were intimate and focused on the fundamentals laid down by their predecessors, which is of course more significant than simply raising the stakes for the sake of.

LMAO, I'll give you that. But come on, you really really don't think that the fact that Batman's in the mix and the public still has the Nolan films fresh in their minds, not to mention this is practically the most monumental Superhero film ever will pretty much guarantee at least a $ billion?

I won't say yes or no. I'd rather we wait until trailers/reviews/set photos/whatever material we can digest show up so that we can see if this is a film with billion dollar potential. I say this because a lot of people overhyped MOS to make a billion dollars and look what happened.

That was already a given with just Superman and Batman. And these cbm trailers have been getting better and better with the exception of a few.
