I do agree with that. I was also entertained by Hobbits. But they existed in their own universe that allowed for them. If a WW solo movie had been announced and it wasn't sold as being connected to MOS, I wouldn't be questioning any of this. I would assuming she was magic and existed in a magic universe. But the issue I have is that while MOS never specifically said magic doesn't exist in that universe, it just didn't seem like it would. I just didn't get the impression that this was that kind of universe. And now it would appear they're saying it was that kind of universe all along. So there's a disconnect for me.
I remember you saying that an audience could buy into different things if it was introduced early enough. And I agree. I guess I feel like the impression that magic could exist should have been established in MOS, since it was the first movie set in this inverse.
