If they'll be filming in early 2014, I can't see them NOT announcing a little more information about the project before the end of the year. An official title and some more casting announcements seem likely, even if we don't get any concrete information about the plot or new characters.

Filming Begins in February however the could be like the Bond films and announce everything in one shot Bardem Harris Marhole and the title Skyfall were all announced simultaneously.

The point is, he was still arrogantly flaunting his 'Christian Bale WILL be Batman in JL/WF' viewpoint at that point. It was his fault he didn't follow it up.

Maybe if Mayimbe had followed the trail on this film like he did with his MCU leads, I could take him more seriously.

Yeah. And that was HIS opinion of what was gonna happen.

It's not like he was saying he had sources saying that was gonna happen, and was quoting it as fact.

It was just his opinion. Plain and simple. No more. No less.

And like HFMF said, what was the point in following up on the Affleck scoop when he had already turned it down?

Actually he posted a story saying that WB was pursuing Bale as Batman in JL and possibly WF. i actually believe that they did pursue him and he turned them down

Well that's just common sense.

OF COURSE Warners is gona try and get Bale, doesn't mean they were or did.

Yeah i'm just saying it wasn't his opinion. He claimed that his sources were telling him that

http://latino-review.com/2013/03/exclusive-dcu-takeover-huge-developments-justice-league/

All he says is that Warners was tailoring the script to allow for his return. Everything else is just his ideas on how it could (or could have) unfolded, as well as what he thinks WB's mindset must be.

And looking at what we know about the MOS universes' Batman, that does work for the Bale Batman.

The idea they're using a veteran Batman could more than fit Bale's Batman, giving the right script.

And its like he said, Bale's involvement was subject to a deal, or rather deals, being made.

But obviously that didn't happen, and they decided to go a different route with Ben Affleck.

But again, you'd be foolish to think that Bale wasn't their first option/first choice for Batman/Superman and Justice League.

What it likely came down to was Nolan's reluctance to have his universe continued, and in turn, Bale's reluctance to do it without Nolan.

BTW, notice that he mentioned a World's Finest film BEFORE Justice League being possible, but unconfirmed.

And uh, is that not what's happening?

not to jump into this argument because I don't know this guy but...everyone and their brother was saying there should be a WF movie before JL.

Yeah, that was certainly the common perception. Plus, it's completely logical that we'd see a WF film before JL. Hardly a "scoop".

Can we stop talking about El Mayimbe and focus on the movie at hand?

Movie wise I am hoping for a new villain rumor soon.

Nah, not really. Up until MOS2 was announced for 2015, the impression was that we'd get JLA before any WF film, despite the other way around being more logical.

But I agree, enough talk about Mayimbe.

I've checked editor William Hoy's resume, and so far, he's still not signed on for Batman vs. Superman. I think David Brenner's coming back...

I really want a different editor :/

I don't think William Hoy would've cut an appreciably better film for MOS. He would've had the same footage to work with, as Brenner did. Blame Snyder for those editorial choices.

I would prefer a new editor than Brenner or Hoy. Dody Dorn is excellent, and she cut Nolan's first two films before he went to Lee Smith. She's not doing anything right now...

Come on Warner bring Wonder Woman in the big screen. Superman/Batman could be the catalyst for the DCU.

Warner should put cameos of Martian Manhunter of Flash and of Cyborg in Superman/Batman. Many DC characters could capitalize on Superman/Batman. They should proceed with a Flash movie and with a Wonder Woman movie.

A script of the JL has been leaked on the internet. John Stewart is in the script as a Green Lantern.

Justice League: Mortal. It was in production in 2007. It was cancelled. It has no bearing on any future films, other than potential sets, costume designs etc, like the several failed Superman films did for Superman Returns and Man of Steel.

Yesterday WB said they wanted to find a way to do a Wonder Woman film and now that script is leaked.

That script was from the failed 2007 film Justice League: Mortal, it had a whole cast and then it was scrapped. Common would've played John Stewart. It has nothing to do with a new Justice League.

I know it's not related but i think it's not a coincidence.

MAYBE they're trying to gauge fan reaction to the script to see if they should use any elements of it in the eventual JL movie
