I believe it.

But what dumbfounds me is, there probably really are people with this train of thought....

Agreed. I mean, more power to them if they think that's their Superman...but Singer's Superman is pretty bland and didn't really represent hope.

I didn't realize it had such a low budget. But it's still pretty bad. Good movie though.

You wanna see a hero movie that makes Sr look like a nursery rhyme? Watch the first Blade Movie.

Wait, what?

You wanna see a hero that makes SR look like a mouse...

Yep... it's dumbfounding when people have opinions different than your own. :word:

PS: I HATE SUPERMAN RETURNS WITH A BURNING HATRED OF A THOUSAND SUNS.

Outside of the blood vfx in the third act and the approach to vampire ashings, they made alot of good choices on that film.

See the blade jumps vs the blade jumps in the sequel.

Singer however made so many bad cgi decisions on SR.

Because it's all WB's fault for not releasing more news...

Then again, do we really want Hypesters here to overanalyze any bit of news we get? :funny:

wait until we start talking about the Superboy series

And now you must post a picture of Lex Luger in the Superboy costume.

You know whut I'm talkin' bout mutha-cusser. :word:

Was anyone actually disappointed by the flight in MOS?

Not me, but there was maybe too much use of very far away shots and close ups, there was not enough shots like the one right before we see him shoot up and go orbital. More clear full body shots is what I mean. Of course now people will post picture after picture to prove me wrong. :word: :woot:

Yeah, that's what it was for me. Like it was either up close to his face or just some CGI double. So, it wasn't as cool-looking or exciting as what they did with Reeves or even Welling.

I was hoping for something like what we saw with Banshee in First Class or that one cool Honda commercial.

We need to make a gif of Nolan, Cavill and Goyer's heads shopped onto the 3 goons who kick Routh's ass in that film.

Then Snyder's head on Lex's body as he sticks the kryptonite shiv into Routh's back.

ROUTH: I'm still contracted to play Superman!

Not like I was with the flight in Returns.

That's for sure.

I liked the flight in SR for the most part. Especially, during the plane scene. Also, the ending, outside of the CGI, in terms of showing that Superman can just fly around for the fun of it rather than it simply being used to get from Point A to Point B.

That badly-rendered Routh I posted a few pages back was from the end.

And MOS definitely did the whole "flying is fun" thing a heckuva lot better.
