BvS All Things Superman and Batman: An Open Discussion - - - - - Part 40

Agreed. The faux leather looks good posed but in action it looks awkward. Sort of like the way TDK/R's Batman suit's legs would make weaird looking creases when he walked or fought.

I think that while it's important to consider what a superhero suits looks like, it should also be easy to move in. They forgot that last part with the Flash costume and both parts with the TDK batsuit, lol.

...How can the suit look awkward in action when we haven't seen it in action?

It's kind of a nit pick but I wish they would film in another city than Vancouver. I'm sick of the entire DC universe looking like Vancouver.

I guess the tax breaks and low labor costs are more important though. It's a minor gripe but it's a gripe I have nonetheless.

Action shots rather than poses.

You know what I mean.

Eh, it's a little unfair to judge how the suit will look in action by the photo you posted, which features the Flash frozen in a mid-air jump with his arms and legs spread in an awkward manner to begin with. Plus, it's a safe bet that the photo was taken at an angle that is nowhere close to the where the cameras were positioned that were actually meant to be filming him.

The suit looks solid in the semi-blurry shot of him running, and also standing upright. I imagine it'll look way better within the cinematography and color schemes of the actual TV show.

Regardless of the rest of it, the helmet is really nice.

Yeah we are being fickle and of course it'll be improved by movie magic, but I still think they could improve the fitting and the creasing of the material a bit. If it's creasing that much from a simple jump or squatting pose on the official pic then I think it could be improved. It's just a minor observation.

The suit is the same material(designer and team) as the one on Arrow. They love to weave faux leather and cloths around. It should look alot better on the show. Still wish that damn hair was exposed.

This is proof positive that the studio releases photos in time with on set shooting.

Can't wait till they we are getting leaks from the next movie

So... is Gustin appearing in this movie or are they hunting down a movie-exclusive Flash still? It's dry on the news front.

They haven't confirmed or denied anything Flash related for this movie.

We don't even know if the Flash is going to be in BvS.

At this point the only confirmed superhero characters are Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

There's been murmurings about Aquaman and possibly Martian Manhunter or Green Lantern but virtually nothing about the Flash.

Actually, imo, it's the Flash that has a better chance of being in the movie. He might not have been rumored at different sites, but this was mentioned in Variety's article about the Gadot as Wonder Woman announcement.

It’s unclear which members, but Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and the Flash are said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo.

I read that, but it's just radio silence on the news front. Even Eh Maybe isn't finding anything substantial.

Come on, WB, give us the official title. That'll get attention.

unlike arrow, who probably has nothing to do with a league story under normal circumstances, The flash is a key player. If this CW show becomes a huge hit and given arrow's popularity for the cw(and on tumblr lol), the flash brand could very well make this their biggest superhero show yet. Anyways, if that happens, the studio will seriously have to consider if they want to recast for the big screen or tie this universe and grant to MOS world.

Hopefully, this makes it to the big screen and they give him a big budget upgrade. Mark Web's spidey costume is such a nice fit.

So if he's not going to be in the movie why is this even here???

Flash and GL are rumored to appear in this next film or the sequels to follow. For all intents and purposes, this could be the first look at flash.

ehhh...I honestly don't think they have any plans to tie the tv shows and movies together. I could be wrong but I think that if they were they would have started dropping hints in the shows by now

I'm actually shocked that I like the Flash suit when it's not in motion.

I think it would look better if they had ditched the leather. I think that was a bad choice. The material should have been skin tight and not a leather/whatever that other material is mix

Kevlar mesh. :o

Leather wouldn't be a bad choice for Wonder Woman though. :hmm
