Well, BvS isn't going to mid-July anymore for sure
Another King Arthur film I'm in.

Was anyone aware that BvS is opening a week earlier in the UK? I'm seriously considering flying there.
'Batman Vs. Superman' Will Open One Week Earlier In U.K., But WB Plans To Keep Film Opposite 'Cap 3' In U.S.
Wonder how much time Gadot will get in this.
It will probably open two months late in Australia.

Poor haters, KO'ed again! lol

Another King Arthur film set to flop ... haven't seen enough of those over the years. Hopefully Ritchie does it right though.
... and either Cap 3 or Batman vs. Superman need to just say screw it and go to the beginning of April ... and do the whole Summer Comes Early this Year and blow the doors off. Cap 3 doing nearly 100 here ... along with the ridiculous #s from Hunger Games in late March show that you can set the box office on fire whenever (except maybe September & January) if people have interest in the film.
We got the Batman films at the same time, I have no idea what the reason for MoS release delay was. Worse one was GL, it was a full 2 months after the US by which time everyone already knew it was terrible.

If it doesn't make Dark Knight box office opening weekend ... they'll probably be heads rolling at WB considering Man of Steel already did 128+ million in 3 days ... and some promotional screenings the night prior (compared to TDK 158)I think ppl underestimated how many ppl who didn't see in theaters caught the film later on via dvd/bluray. This could potentially have a DK type of box office hit right off the gate.
Your opinion. I quite enjoy that movie.![]()
WB are staying put on May 6 with that King Arthur move.

We all have our guilty pleasures.

I don't care what WB says publicly ... they have to expect this to do TDK opening weekend #s, MINIMUM ... and they'd be right to expect that based on what they're going to throw out there.
... of course, opening the same day as Captain America would probably make that a little more difficult ... but there is no way those films will come out the same day ... won't be good for appeasing share holders.
Guilty as charged hahaha. I think I'm the one person on the earth who likes that movie.
I always get a kick out of Batman & Robin too. I watch it at least twice a year. It's pure entertainment. I'm serious. I love it.
I will say this, even though it won't happen in the unlikely event Cap 3 and MoS 2 open same weekend MoS 2 will have something that not only Cap 3 won't have but also the Avengers 2 won't have - a 75 year build up. It wouldn't even surprise me if the advertising campaign is purely about the history of the two characters. The build up to the Avengers has always been about the present, with all do respect to the characters they don't have the same history in the public conscious that Superman and Batman have, they are very much present day characters in that regard. If I was WB I'd advertise the crap out of that history for this film.
Kind of like how WB promoted Michael Mann's HEAT, with the emphasis of the performance legacies of Pacino and DeNiro.
