Nostalgia is a very powerful marketing tool. In fact if I was WB the first teaser trailer wouldn't even be about the movie, it would be about the history of the two characters. Very simple trailer flipping through pages of comic books over the years featuring the two characters working together with voice over from the film, culminating in a brief shot of a scene from the movie featuring both characters in full costume standing side by side. Don't even need a logo or title to flash up.

Yep. I would add snap shots of their various on screen incarnations with your description.

Of course, like animated movies and TV shows as well, pretty much any medium whereby the two have worked together.

Yes. I wish they would just call it either World's Finest or Trinity and get it over with. More than likely it's going to be Batman vs. Superman though, which is horrible.

Not from a $$$$ standpoint. BvS gets everything across clearly. They will most definitely spend huge amounts to promote this everywhere; BAtman/Superman as your title will no doubt help.

I have zero interest in a title that sounds like two super heros are about to have a boxing match.
