And after TWO FREAKIN' YEARS I think the center of Metropolis is not going to be a crater that ZOD INFLICTED on it.

If the rumor is true and indeed some significant time has passed since the events of MOS, then I don't see a problem with showing Metropolis fully rebuilt.

I think it has a lot to do with the man inside the suit rather than the suit itself. Brandon Routh, who I'm sure is a nice guy, just lacks the Superman aura. His eyes give off a blank stare.

Henry Cavill has a certain aura that screams "Superman". His eyes can look innocent, sad, kind and world-weary all at the same time.

I love that picture. Perfect, friendly superman face. That whole scene was classic Lois and Clark magic.

Thanks, but I felt kinda bullied when out of nowhere I got called an odd kid by Kane. Obviously my laughing wasn't odd when you understood where it came from and why I laughed. *sigh*

I see and I get what you're saying. It's probably best to move on though.

Only half a joke. Seriously, you're not going to see a difference in aesthetics between two beautiful cities, because I'm certain Metropolis is going to still be mostly rubble in the sequel, and if it isn't, that's really undermining the the first film.

I don't think most of Metropolis was destroyed and it's rumored that BvS takes place 2 years after MOS.

Yeah, remember... Superman himself destroyed the WHOLE of Metropolis. Not ONE building or person survived.

I think it is absolutely unbelievable that Metropolis could be cleaned and rebuilt in two years. It's more ludicrous than believing a man can fly.

The whole thing doesn't need to be rebuilt. It's a huge city. There can be sections that are still recovering or abandoned and other sections that still thrive like that pic I posted.
