I think it is absolutely unbelievable that Metropolis could be cleaned and rebuilt in two years. It's more ludicrous than believing a man can fly.

When you have a man with super strength and speed and he would be very open to the idea with helping out with the cleanup. It makes it a little bit more believable.

When you have a man with super strength and speed and he would be very open to the idea with helping out with the cleanup. It makes it a little bit more believable.

It also helps that IT WASN'T THE ENTIRE CITY. The devastation was at the center more or less, and Superman and Zod's fight actually only levels ONE building, when Zod turns his heat vision on. The VAST majority of the city is actually standing at the end. That this is still debated or has to be brought up shows almost willful obtuse-ness from one side.

The whole thing doesn't need to be rebuilt. It's a huge city. There can be sections that are still recovering or abandoned and other sections that still thrive like that pic I posted.

I imagine that the area where the world engine was at is still under construction and I wonder if lex corp will do some construction in that area as well. So by bvs which is supposed to be taking place two years after mos, metropolis will probably resemble new york at the end of watchmen.
