There's a religion in Terry Gilliam's new movie "The Zero Theorem" called "Church of Batman the Redeemer". Now my interest in that movie has increased.

I doubt there will be any crossovers. Probably because there isn't much benefit from it anyway.

One of the reasons CW was the way it initially was is that CBS didn't want major competition, so they made that channel go after a niche target audience.

Well you're just no fun.

I can think of plenty of benefits not the least of which would be that by the time SG comes out Arrow will be starting at least season 4 and Flash will be starting season 2 and well established.

If it was any other network I would agree with you but CBS and Warners have a great relationship together and it will be mutually beneficial.

I honestly have no interest in Supergirl. CBS is kind of meh IMO.

Being a cool fun thing is a benefit.

But seriously, if WB has a property on every network(besides ABC for obvious reasons), they better find a way to utilize the Multiverse!

It's your thing DC! Giant convoluted stories that involve interdimensional battles and so forth. At least find the laziest, cheapest way to use it. Have one Flash travel to all saying "Hi" to everyone.

It's not impossible for networks to crossover shows: NBC's Homicide: Life on the Street crossed over with Fox's X-Files

The Flash TV show would be a great catalyst to a Crisis event.

Not really. If they can't make a show that stands on its own that people find entertaining enough to keep watching and has to ride on the coattails of the idea that it's somehow connected to some other show, then it's kinda pointless. Plus, I doubt there is much to benefit from it money-wise.

Being a cool fun thing is a benefit.

Being a cool fun thing isn't enough, though.

Anyway, it's just weird that a show can't even come out yet, show any footage, or even give an idea of what it's about before people start talking about it being connected to this or that.

It's probably best to just look at as if WB is essentially creating a live-action (can even count toons) Multiverse. And they don't even need to cross over.

See, like I said, no fun.:oldrazz:

Seriously, plus he completely missed the point anyways.

Plus, lord forbid people hypothesize about where things go or get hyped up about an announcement. It is a friggin show about a comic book not live action Shakespeare.

And to head this off: No one is saying you have to be positive, but do you have to rain on the parade of those of us having a little fun? [insert Welcome to the Internet joke here]

Well, being a cool fun thing hasn't exactly benefited something like the SHIELD show. At least not how ABC probably would've liked.

It hasnt hurt Arrow and it wont hurt the Flash...

Anyways, back on topic:

Keep smiling ;)

And it remains to be seen if it has even benefited them all that much, which I doubt it will unless they get to a point where they "force" you to watch both shows to make sense of and enjoy what is even going on. Sorta like the comics.
