I need this now. The best band with the best superhero.

Prince=Batman '89
Nirvana=Batman '19

Imagine a Under the Red Hood movie with Jason fighting thugs and this is the song in the background

Everything looks pretty in Jim Lee art. But that suit sucks, no matter who draws it.

I disagree.

Also, people like to complain that superman doesn't need a armored suit. With the speed and high impacts he endures fighting super powered beings, he's spandex fabric would rip apart into pieces.

It's a good thing his pre-52 suit wasn't made of spandex then.

no disrespect, but i think that would be incredibly corny, and totally against the point of the song. kurt would probably hate that ****.

If they used Nirvana, I'd want it to be subtle. Prince's music in the museum scene took me out of the movie.

I'd probably choose a more somber Nirvana song to go with a Batman movie. Probably something from MTV Unplugged, i've listened to Nirvana's MTV Unplugged while reading Batman comics more times than i can count, it's a good combination. And rock music shouldn't take away from a scene that should probably be using an original score.

But think about the way that they used Chris Cornell's song "Seasons" in MOS. They could do something like that for Nirvana. Zack Snyder clearly isn't averse to grunge bands if he used a Chris Cornell song. It's funny, you can hear Cornell in Avengers and MOS, in MOS, it's his solo act, in Avengers, it's with Soundgarden.

I first heard the song "Seasons" on the Singles soundtrack, which also featured some other amazing grunge bands like Mother Love Bone, Alice In Chains, and Smashing Pumpkins. It was pretty awesome to hear that song come on in MOS. My friends and i have similar taste, we all love 90s rock and we all looked at each other approvingly when that song came on in the theater.

I'm not saying that this song should be in a Batman movie, just posting because it's awesome :) Nirvana with the Meat Puppets, playing Oh Me

Green Lantern done right and played straight will be the next Star Wars, mark my words. GOTG is NOT THE WAY TO DO A GL FILM. People keep saying this, and they couldn't be more wrong. Green Lantern isn't a joke. It's a space epic like Star Wars. And Hal is at the center of that world, people don't realize it, but Hal has the potential to be the next huge A-list breakout character if his story is properly showcased in a GREEN LANTERN movie trilogy.

Could GL's prospects rise higher? Sure, but people thought the same with the movie too. And while a GL film doesnt have to mirror GOTG completely, it would be nice to play up the more fun elements of that universe.

GL shouldn't mirror GOTG at all though. The only existing franchise that they should emulate is Star Wars.

Green Lantern should be a live-action version of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. :cool:

I'd prefer GL to be serious.

Many movies cherry pick elements from other franchises so I think its okay if they incorporated some of the elements from GOTG. It could be very entertaining and fun if done well.

I'd be happy if they cast a younger actor to play Hal Jordan. Have him barely out of his teens when he gets the ring.

Who remembers this?

I'd rather Green Lantern just steer clear of any GOTG inspiration, there are plenty of other scifi films they should be inspired by instead of GOTG.

I'd rather they emulate Star Wars, Alien, and Prometheus. Parallax and Atrocitus should be as scary as anything in Alien and Prometheus. The general story would be epic and along the lines of Star Wars, with a Han type in the lead role. The monstrous threats should be as scary and serious as anything in Alien or Prometheus.

If he would be Jason, I would have ran onto wherever they were filming in a Joker costume and a crowbar.

He would have been the perfect Carrie Kelly.

Or Jason.
LOL! He even has Carrie Kelly's hair in that picture!!

someone needs to manip Bieber as Carrie Kelly with the orange hair and the glasses, that's hilarious.

Why would you want it to be anything like Prometheus? That movie is what happens when people dont say "No" to creators because of their name.

Of course I would want it nothing like Alien either...I am all for serious but GL should be a space opera not a horror movie. Star Wars yes, Alien no. (maybe Aliens but not the dour mood of Alien)

I stated that the approach to the villains should be similar to Prometheus and Alien. Atrocitus and Parallax would benefit from an Alien/Prometheus touch. I can imagine a Prometheus/Alien esque scene with Larfleeze. Basically what I'm getting at is scifi horror. They shouldn't be afraid of going for a scifi horror vibe, because a lot of GL characters lend themselves to that genre. Parallax, Atrocitus and Larfleeze immediately come to mind.

In handling the more monstrous threats, they should take inspiration from Alien and Prometheus. Star Wars should be the primarily inspiration though. Sinestro would basically be a Count Dooku type character, he's basically a jedi gone rogue. Hal is basically Han Solo and similar to Anakin when he's taken over by Parallax.

DC has the best villains and many of them lend themselves to mature and terrifying adaptations. Darkseid, Brainiac, Larfleeze, Atrocitus, Parallax,Joker and lot of other Batman villains benefit from a horror vibe.

The general storyline would be a space epic along the lines of Star Wars, but it could venture into somewhat mature scifi horror territory when handling certain villains.

I keep going back and forth on what the first Batfleck solo should be. Every day it changes.

This is my felling today on the direction for the Batfleck solo.
