You are just trolling Rorscach now arent you :lmao:

That is better casting than some of his though :hehe:
You'd have to be ignorant to believe that John Stewart is a better choice for the lead of a GL solo film. Also, please tell me what casting of mine is bad.

And why are you being a *****e? Levitikuz and i disagree about Green Lantern, but his posts have actually added something to this place. but you? you're just a n00b.

I didn't hear Rorschach say no to Tyler Perry as John Stewart.

SO THAT'S A YES!!!

so this is why dhandler hates me

in response to the idea of this film being a combination of TDKR and Death of Superman.

DHANDLER said:
Jesus this again...there is zero evidence that any of that is true. Even more, if they are going to "steal from the best" why would they then completely bastardize the Doomsday plot when there are actual villains who have been created by Lex that work better than Doomsday anyways?

If the rumor is true (and I doubt it is) I think it is ridiculous and sounds terrible. It is the second worst rumor behind the "Superman Fakes His Death And Goes Into Exile" rumor.

I thought we were done with this rumor after the fake script fiasco...Faraci has no sources when it comes to WB movies. (which is why the rumor died in August FYI)

edit: Superman is not going to die. Please for the love of Zod stop propagating that rumor. You dont kill him before Justice League and you certainly dont kill him when no one has any reason to care if he dies. It would be stupid and weightless because he hasnt been around long enough for anyone to care. DOS works because Superman had been saving the world for YEARS...this Superman has done it once and half the people seem to hate him for it. If they do that dumb idea I guarantee it will fall flat and Justice League will be a disaster.

this is an illogical overreaction to the idea of Doomsday being the villain.

I think Doomsday will almost certainly be the villain here, it makes the most sense. They're not going to significantly scale back the action for this film, it's going to be bigger than Zod vs Superman. Doomsday raises the stakes.

Cavill has said he wants to see Doomsday the most. And that his favorite story is Death of Superman.

Just wait for it everyone, i really think Doomsday will be the villain. Just look at the evidence. Nothing points to Metallo.

Even the people that want Metallo should be able to recognize that the evidence points to Doomsday being the villain.

The reports about the Doomsday concept art being seen and the rumors about Lexcorp cloning Zod's body and making Doomsday were both from fairly reputable sources that have been right in the past.

If Doomsday is done well in this film, what's the problem, what's the point in b******g like d-handler?

Doomsday isn't such a great character that he deserves a ton of build up. I dont' think that's the case. He's a personality-less brute that can be done justice in the final act of this movie. Justice League can feature the Return of Superman for the first act.

I really think that's what's going to happen, it's what the evidence points towards.

I doubt dhandler will be incessantly whining once the movie comes out. They have an exellent writing team that can handle a TDKR/Death of Superman hybrid very nicely.

In all seriousness about the villain. It will likely be Doomsday created by Lex. We have Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman and you aren't gonna have them fight Stick Stickly.

Metallo's cool but pointless when you have Wonder Woman. Doomsday is the best fit to fight the Trinity.

i don't really care who plays John Stewart, he's a side character, and all Green Lantern fans (y'know, those that are familiar with Green Lantern outside of Justice League TAS) know the real star is and always will be Hal Jordan.

Tyler Perry isn't even a bad actor, he's solid in serious roles, he wouldn't be the worst choice for the role, they could do worse.

Look to the sky...

Seriously. We have five members of the JL involved in some capacity with this film. The final act will likely be the Trinity vs Doomsday, and that sounds ****ing awesome.

Metallo and Lex sounds boring compared to Doomsday and Lex :word:

I'm cool with Hal...

As long as this happens....

Well Terrio is suppose to write Justice League. Not Goyer.

Martian Manhunter is such an easy character to have in the first Justice League film. You could connect his backstory to Brainiac or the White Martians or Darkseid. Just have one of them wipe out all of Mars's life and J'onn hears they are coming to Earth and BOOM Martian Manhunter.

Why even have him as a villain? If you're gonna go the route of alien invasion again, the way the animated series did it was way more interesting, aka J'onn was essentially the reason why the JL existed.

I think Doomsday would be great in terms of spectacle. But if they go with Metallo and Luthor, maybe Metallo is a work in progress as far as Luthor is concerned? He starts out with robots, to test Superman on the streets of Metropolis, and then Metallo is the final result, with a chest full of Kryptonite which would depower Superman.

And it's not only that, how much pull does Goyer really have?

That's a good question but a difficult one to answer since things are constantly shifting at a studio level. While its true that Goyer was deemed at one point to be the go-to-guy for future projects at the studio, things seem to have changed on some level, since it was Terrio who was being pursued by Warner Bros to write the script for Justice League.

Everyone that's not sold on Doomsday vs the trinity being the final act of this movie should watch this
