How did I overcome the securities? By putting myself out there? Try and date as many girls as I could, til I found the right one.

And I've known many great girls who can't seem to find a decent guy even after they get impregnated. So no, women don't have it easier.

I've seen average regular joes, pick up gorgeous women on nothing but charisma and charm.

Yes, some people have it easier than others because of their looks but even then it only gets you so far. You can't rely on just your looks, if you have the personality as deep as a thimble or suck in bed.

Yes dating/relationships is complicated but it's not as one sided as you think.
