A lot of network TV is down so far this week.

But Arrow just hit an all time low. That's very bad and if they don't turn things around they could have their budget cut for next season. And budget cuts would almost certainly mean more soap opera and less action.

tv ratings aren't as reflective of success as they used to be. CW uploads each new episode to their website, people watch Arrow on netflix as well.

Yes but we don't know how that is doing vs earlier this year and last season. The ratings are the only info we have AFAIK. I read somewhere the budget got cut from S1 to S2 and of course the ratings trended down during S1. I have no idea how much the nexflix and other stuff helps a show, do you?

Well we're definitely getting a 3rd season, so CW can't be too disappointed by the numbers. I'm hoping for five seasons!

Some haters are not going to be happy... :hehe:

What can you say to tease the return of The Huntress on the “Birds of Prey” episode? Who will she be now, when we see her again?

GUGGENHEIM: It’s been literally a year, in story time, since we’ve seen her. One of the things we told Jessica De Gouw, who plays The Huntress, was that we weren’t interested in treading over old territory with Helena. What we pitched her was the idea that basically Helena Bertinelli is gone. The only thing that remains is The Huntress. It’s been a year of her literally scouring the world to find her father, who was on the run at the end of Episode 17 of last season. We really wanted to show that wear and tear on her. We even aged up her costume a little bit, so you really get the sense that she has been traveling the world and literally has just spent a year killing people to try to get at her dad, and it’s done quite a number on her soul. We get to explore all that, in a really fun episode that also deals with Laurel Lance, in a very big way. One of the things we wanted to do with the episode was give Laurel her groove back, as it were. We have obviously taken Laurel down a very dark path, this year. As we started to see at the end of last week’s episode, she’s going to start turning the corner. And this episode with The Huntress is a very big move in that direction.

Kind of ironic for the producers to say they weren’t interested in treading over old territory when that's what Helena is doing... trying to kill her father again!! :whatever: Hopefully they will start fixing the character, they went too far with psycho Huntress, many fans hated it and don't like her at all.

If they're going to use Nightwing, they should not cast Steven McQueen, he's a terrible actor, easily the worst in The Vampire Diaries and his face is too boyish so... his cast mate, Ian Sommerhalder, would fit the role better, but he's not available. There must be better actors for the role than McQueen, if he gets cast, is just to save money since he's already a CW actor.

Right.

If IS was to be anyone, he'd have to be Batman. He is (and looks) too old for Nightwing IMO.

Um, the source there is Cosmicbooknews... Is there at least another source reporting this or should it get dumped into the made up news bin?

while it is cosmic book news I have seen other site reporting it

who cares who reports the story?

It's a video of the guy confirming his involvement with Arrow as Nightwing. It doesn't matter who reports it, the story is in the video.

Didn't notice the video, sorry bout that. I didn't even bother clicking the link due to the source.

If McQueen is telling the truth about the role, I doubt he'll have since he's talking about it.

We'd either have official confirmation about it by now, or no one would be saying anything. He talks about wanting it so much on his twitter, I have serious doubts that he actually has it.

Well, there is that "big announcement" coming out in episode 19, so maybe it's about NW. We'll see soon enough.

I've been thinking the same thing. This could easily be another Jamie Alexander/Wonder Woman situation. Normally, they keep this stuff under wraps, but McQueen has been pretty vocal about both wanting the role and speaking to the producers about it. It's possible he's already technically been cast, and they're just trying to figure out if they can actually use Nightwing, but I dunno.

This!

What if Deathstroke's ally that took out Diggle is Isabel Rochev AKA Rose Wilson

Isabel is supposed to be back [blackout] in episode 18.[/blackout]

If the budget got cut from S1 to S2 yet S2 looks way more expensive and is more enjoyable than S1 then I say cut cut cut away for S3, forces creativity.
