Sweet. Helena definitely needs an update though. Next to Sara and Nyssa, she doesn't really look all that special. The comic influences are way too subdued.

I don't know, Helena put up a much better fight against Ollie than Nyssa did, Sara was Nyssa's protege. Also Helena is bat**** crazy, that always helps.

I don't know, Helena put up a much better fight against Ollie than Nyssa did, Sara was Nyssa's protege. Also Helena is bat**** crazy, that always helps.

I re-watched that fight, and damn... I forgot how high her body count ways. She killed 9 cops on her way to her father. Anyway, the fight, wasn't really much of a fight. Helena surprised tackled Oliver, kicked a few times, but Oliver was only trying to get to his bow the whole time. She tried to get him into a grappling hold and he got out both times.

I re-watched that fight, and damn... I forgot how high her body count ways. She killed 9 cops on her way to her father. Anyway, the fight, wasn't really much of a fight. Helena surprised tackled Oliver, kicked a few times, but Oliver was only trying to get to his bow the whole time. She tried to get him into a grappling hold and he got out both times.

I was talking about their very first fight that ended abruptly when Ollie grabbed her motor cycle helmet. Those two were going at it, and she was matching him blow to blow. Nyssa on the other hand got one knee in, then got taken down and almost killed.

Ah, true. Completely forgot that first fight. I still hope Sara kicks her ass easily. Otherwise it would be annoying, knowing the League of Assassins are all elite fighters, but a rich girl with a vendetta is easily on par with them.

But I guess crazy can occasionally even the playing field.

Oliver was able to subdue Nyssa much easier than I thought.

Seems as though Merlyn was the only League member so far that bested him.

Following the entire fight, Nyssa actually had the upper hand the entire time. Ollie only managed to turn the table when he caught the knife, and got her into a grapple. But before that, is was pretty much pure ownage.

Maybe in archery, but in hand-to-hand combat.. Oliver got her into a submission hold in a matter of seconds.

Hardly an ownage by Nyssa. Oliver faced more challenging fighters than that.

Well, I didn't like that Oliver was able to beat Nyssa single-handedly anyway, especially after having such trouble with Merlyn. I would have had Nyssa kick his ass, and them later he and Sara working together would finally overpower her. Then again, Oliver's fighting prowess has been portrayed inconsistently over the course of the show.

At the Huntress Return episode she said she practiced the arrow grabing movement in case he tried to shoot her. So who knows how much more training she did in the last year now that she knows Oliver isn't hesitanting to kill her and the police is after her. She could be way better.

Finally been able to start watching this 2nd season, only 3 episodes in but its not quite matching season 1 so far, but I am still enjoying it. Costumes are much better this season for the villains as well.

Cant wait to see Deathstroke!

I'd still take Arrow-verse Huntress's costume over Jim Lee's stupid belly-window/short shorts costume any day. God do I hate that costume.

She got that AFTER she nearly died because the Joker shot her IN THE STOMACH. And the best justification that they could come up with was her wanting to show off how toned her abs were, ugh.

I don't think the producers wanted the male protagonist beaten by a girl. That's probably the reason Oliver bested her so easily.

China White put up more of a fight than Nyssa.

People read way too much into head-to-head outcomes. Much like the comic book world, characters tend to win some, lose some. Even Batman loses.

Oliver beat Nyssa - who we have absolutely NO information on, other than that she's the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul. Anything beyond that - her fighting prowess included - is just guesswork that hasn't been confirmed on screen.

People read way too much into head-to-head outcomes. Much like the comic book world, characters tend to win some, lose some. Even Batman loses.

Oliver beat Nyssa - who we have absolutely NO information on, other than that she's the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul. Anything beyond that - her fighting prowess included - is just guesswork that hasn't been confirmed on screen.

She's Ra's daughter, and his second in command. That's information enough. Ra's, if he's anything like his CB counterpart, is going to make sure that his child, heir, and right hand woman is a badass. It wouldn't bug me as much if:
1. The LOA wasn't being built up as the dangerous force.
2. Oliver didn't have so much trouble with Malcolm (and will almost certainly have trouble with Slade). He NEVER straight-up defeated Malcolm. As someone else mentioned, China White put up more of a fight than Nyssa did.
3. They gave us ANY indication that Oliver had undergone any kind of special/advanced training since the Undertaking that could explain why he's now so much better.
4. If it was Oliver AND Sara working together to take down Nyssa.
