Not to mention even if Slade does get beat, it could be because of arrogance and underestimation on his part about Thea.
well with the exception of tonight part when she saw laural I would say not tonight but she could have doe better against The D.A.D.B. bit it's better to leave that in the Canarys thread for now.If Thea ends up being the one to defeat Deathstroke, then the writers have seriously jumped the shark...more so than with how they pulled off Oliver's supposed "resurrection".
Seriously, Thea's one fighting sequence with someone, other than Malcolm, came off as a joke.
No offense to Willa, but she hasn't demonstrated anything within the series's tenure that she could make Thea come off as a believable badass.
Whenever Thea gets angry on this show, she comes off as a whiny, self-centered, spoiled brat.
Where does everyone get the whole "Thea beat Slade" from? All the still showed is that they were fighting, it didn't show us anything other than that they fight. As far as we know right now, Oliver could be just outside the frame.
Not really, how often do Oliver or his opponent end up on the ground briefly during a fight. Quite often. Especially if Thea had the element of surprise its not a stretch. You're jumping the gun here...
Next week, the Arrow (Stephen Amell) returns to the island of Lian Yu for some training and preparation for his upcoming rematch with Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable). However, the latest Arrow promo for the episode shows that Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke has managed to escape his Supermax jail cell and is looking for payback. However, Arrow's Marc Guggenheim counsels that fans should expect the unexpected in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. "It feels like a coda to season two. Its not just the final battle, but the final interactions between Oliver and Slade that we didnt have the screen time to do at the end of season 2 because youre racing to the end of the season. Its nice to be able to write a little bit of an epilogue for these two characters. Its not to say its the last time well ever see Slade again, but certainly the story of Oliver versus Slade, the revenge for Shados death, thats the kind of stuff this puts a nice capstone on. When we see Slade again, hell be in a different headspace. Well take his character in a new and different direction.."

...So is Ted Grant dead or not? It wasn't really made clear.

I'm fairly certain he is alive. I wouldnt be surprised if we didnt see him again though. He only acted as a gateway for Laurel into vigilantism. he has served his purpose.
