Really hoping you answer these questions 1) will Laurel get her own glass case so she doesn't have to carry her suit in a bag 2) we will ever get to see Slade daughter Ravager from the comics 3) knowing that you guys are getting another season how far will Laurels training and progress be jumped up? Also still waiting for the Huntress/Helena post :) thanks for the show also hope you guys keep working on Black Canary!

marcguggenheim answered:
1) Keep watching
2) You never know
3) It will be continuous but gradual
4) I owe your a Huntress post

Was anyone else not really impressed with how Team Arrow handled the city while Oliver was half dead? That maybe why I didn't agree with them that much in last nights episode. You caught one guy while he was gone. Heck they didn't even catch him. Malcolm did ,and yeah Laurel can get better at doing the canary business but she better get training from Oliver because she stinks and would get gutted pretty fast by a league of assassins member. Personally i think they're a little too high on themselves at the moment and the only one that made any sense to me was Diggle. The others are too emotional. They better wake up before Ra's shows up. I feel like Oliver is the only one in the group taking that 100% serious.

Well after last night's episode pretty clear to see who the new trainer will be.

They aren't talking about Ra's, they werent arguing about how serious that situation is but overall, they learned to fight for themselves while he was gone. They were the ones who gathered up everyone to fight Bricks army, they have taken down individual bad guys themselves. That was the whole point.

And Now She’s Really Speedy!

GA-Cv72_580_54dc03ce0d29f1.06654731.jpg

Oliver’s been calling Thea Speedy since he returned to Starling City back in Season 1. And until now it’s been a clever reference for inside fans who know that Speedy was often Green Arrow’s sidekick in the comic books. But now that she knows his secret and is on an adventure with him, perhaps she really is on her way to being a version of Speedy fans have known and loved.
Not that Chase.
Did Thea back the wrong horse or what? Through the years there have been several DC Comics characters known as Chase. There was Champion Chase who hunted superheroes and supervillains. There was the Chase family who took on crime-fighting as generations of The Vigilante. But none of those Chases ever trained with the League of Assassins. That’s what makes Thea’s Chase so special. And just in time for Valentine’s Day, too!

I think Diggle taking over as the trainer for both Roy and Laurel makes perfect sense and I don't see why he hasn't been doing more already. Roy and Laurel have not been seen training at all these last few weeks, and Diggle hasn't been doing much.

They did the gag last season of him sparring with Sara and comparing scars, but I think he could be very useful as a trainer in the foundry, as far as hand to hand comes. Oliver already doesn't want him out in the field because he's a father now, but he could still be there driver and potential backout, as well a trainer or sparring partner. He has so much more to offer than being the old grandfather type that just sits in the corner and gives his opinion.

If anything, due to Diggle being an original character, make him into an original hero/vigilante. Don't bother having him take over someone elses role.

which is why I was giving him the name Ordinance he does deserve his own name not to take other character code name or super hero Identity I say the same for felicity but she already existed i the comic's & if people really want the cross over with titans some how I do n't k now I want her to take the oracle name seeing that bab's will be a part of the titan's unless they share the name other wise I'd suggest her own while she help behind the scenes like what what doe with Micheal weatherly dark angel before he went over to NCIS

Next week, the Arrow (Stephen Amell) returns to the island of Lian Yu for some training and preparation for his upcoming rematch with Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable). However, the latest Arrow promo for the episode shows that Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke has managed to escape his Supermax jail cell and is looking for payback. However, Arrow's Marc Guggenheim counsels that fans should expect the unexpected in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. "It feels like a coda to season two. It’s not just the final battle, but the final interactions between Oliver and Slade that we didn’t have the screen time to do at the end of season 2 because you’re racing to the end of the season. It’s nice to be able to write a little bit of an epilogue for these two characters. It’s not to say it’s the last time we’ll ever see Slade again, but certainly the story of Oliver versus Slade, the revenge for Shado’s death, that’s the kind of stuff this puts a nice capstone on. When we see Slade again, he’ll be in a different headspace. We’ll take his character in a new and different direction.."

My guess is that Deathstroke is going to be recruited into the Suicide Squad?

well in the comic's he was apart of them. (but also Task force X in the comic's wasn't cover name it was sub department the over saw the suicide squad where he was in that) some how I'm not sure it'll happen in the show though.

hmmm I don't think he's ever had a relation ship with H.i.v.e. some how if anything it would be more like what happened with dead shot with contracts I think the made slade into too much of his own man that he won't fallow any one but him self now & days.

I think Slade will escape and become a mercenary. If they wanted him to be a part of the Squad, they probably would have recruited him after Oliver defeated him instead of putting him in jail.

Maybe, or Waller has once again found someone who was "uniquely qualified" to help her. Like how only Oliver was qualified to be her tour guide in Starling City. :woot:

...So is Ted Grant dead or not? It wasn't really made clear.

The producers confirmed Wildcat is alive:

They should've included a line or two to let the audience know he's ok, but it seems we're expecting too much from the writers. :o

Speaking of Wildcat, if the actor is not available, I would not mind making Diggle the second Wildcat. Is better than making him a Green Lantern, which is more expensive and could reduce his role in the show because of the Green Lantern Corps' responsabilities.

He needs his own name & to stay with team arrow.

Looking at Roy's fight with the DJ Assassin, if that dude is considered to be an "Average" member of the LOA, then Team Arrow really doesn't have much of a chance on taking on even a handful of the League members.

Heck, even with a combined assault from Oliver and Malcolm, I bet that the most that they'll be able to do is just keep Ra's busy for awhile.

But Laurel (at her current level of training) along with Roy and Diggs wouldn't be able to take on most of the League members, especially with Nyssa leading them.

I would imagine that if Ray joins in the fight with his Atom suit that he'll be able to make somewhat of a difference.

That's the reason why i felt they were a little high on themselves. Even with an army of people they don't get Brick without Malcolm and they dont get him alive without Oliver. Considering the butt whooping Ra's gave Oliver not only does learning the ways of the league from merlyn make sense to me, but that small loss to the mini league fighter tells me the others definitely aren't there and need a lot more training too.

To be fair, Roy is the second least capable member of Team Arrow. He shouldn't be expected to be able to hold his own against an assassin.

Ra's has an entire league at his command. It would take a supreme effort for them to even reach him. They'd probably have to resort to trickery.

But Laurel (at her current level of training) along with Roy and Diggs wouldn't be able to take on most of the League members, especially with Nyssa leading them.

I think what'll happen is Oliver will challenge Ra's directly to another one-on-one battle, so all that stuff will be avoided. If that comes to fruition, however, I don't know what role the rest of the team will play in the finale. Maybe Ra's will offer to take all of them at once?

I would imagine that if Ray joins in the fight with his Atom suit that he'll be able to make somewhat of a difference.

I'm not sure he would. Does he even know how to fight?

Well, I didn't mean Ray (the person) but Ray when equipped with his Atom Suit.

If that suit protects him from regular bullet fire and knife stabbings, while allowing him to fly and shoot energy blasts then that would give him a better advantage against a regular LOA (imho) than most of Team Arrow.

Also, I just find it weird on how they made such a big deal last season in Oliver learning not to become a killer, but a hero instead..only for him to regress back to the "killer mode" once confronted by Ra's.

I know. What I'm saying is, suit or not, inexperience is inexperience. The most powerful weapon in the universe would be useless in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to use it. And if he can't even throw a punch, the suit will be even more useless.

I think they're gearing more towards him killing when necessary, which I'm okay with. He did it last season too. I see what you mean, though.

Was this confirmed? Is this usually something Atom can do in the comics (not a character I'm familiar with)?
