Eh, even that is stretching. An anti-villain is really supposed to be a character who fits the traditional villain story role, but whose personal qualities make them sympathetic, or even admirable. The Vigilante doesn't really have any discernible virtues, nor sympathy in motivation and characterization. He's just a kill crazy vigilante who is indifferent to human life. If anything, he's less an anti-villain than season 1 Malcolm ( whose plan was horrible but his motivation was comprehensible and sympathetic ).

I don't think he -wants- innocents to die. He's just an 'ends justifies the means' kinda character. He's a pretty typical anti hero in that regard. (deadpool, punisher, spawn, wolverine) have all been known to drop bodies.

It would be nice to get more of his backstory or motivations though.
 
Based on what I have seen so far, I consider him to be an anti-hero.

Most of those people drop *guilty* bodies, not innocent ones. That's the key difference- the Vigilante doesn't just kill his targets, he kills people who are inconveniently nearby, and is openly indifferent to such.

They have the same thing on Ninja Warrior, it's called a salmon ladder. Do you think Arrow fans would want to get one and be able to exercise like Oliver? It would be free standing, and about 10 rungs high. What do you think?

I wonder what people here make of this list. I agree with the top two. Prometheus is far too high ATM. While he is interesting and has been great so far, he still has to do more before he should be ranked so highly. Darhk should be ahead of Merlyn IMO, and certainly ahead of Ra's and Zoom. They used him simply being evil and nothing more against him. I do not agree with that way of looking at things. While it is true that they did not explore his backstory as much as they should have, he was still highly entertaining and a very engaging villain. When he was onscreen, I was drawn much more to what he was saying and doing than I ever was with Ra's and Zoom once the mask was off.

There is more than one way to skin a cat. Villains do not have to have good in them and heroes do not have to have darkness in them for them to be great and entertaining characters or even interesting characters. It is certainly one of the more common ways that people go about make their characters interesting though. It should be said that Darhk did believe what he was doing was what was best for humanity, before he went completely mad at the end that is. They did not explore why he wanted to do what he did anywhere near as much as they should have, unfortunately (hopefully this will be rectified on LOT), but he was still a very effective villain despite this IMO.

The villains from the Arrowverse I don't like are Vandal Savage, Zoom, Merlyn, and Savitar. The problem with a lot of the villains, including the good ones like Darhk is that they start off menacing, but as the seasons progress, they don't feel dangerous.
 
Finally watched the mid-season finale. Brilliant. I know a lot of people are obsessed with Laurel but it was the mini-Christmas party they had for Dig. And the little things that came with it. I've liked Dig and Wild Dog's interaction and I really hope we get an episode that focuses on them together, maybe touching on their military pasts. But it was the little hints that Wild Dog may have had kids in the past, or the fact Rory was there. At first I wondered why he wouldn't go to Thea's more business-like party considering he's Jewish and won't do Christmas. But then I remembered that he is truly alone and would rather be at Dig's more family orientated party. It's little things like that which when you notice, really adds to the character.
 
I had a dream last night where Tom Welling showed up on here, thus rounding out the 'former Superman actors' hat-trick on these shows. Wish I could remember who he played.
 
Yeah, I think she trained him as well as Oliver. Oliver recognised one of Prometheus' moves and said that a woman in Russia taught him it. He is most likely referring to Talia.
 
I'm looking forward to the reveal of Prometheus as well as what happens to Diggle. Seeing him interact with Chase should be very interesting.

I know the last teaser revealed a ton but I still want more tv spots released.
 
What if laurel is not really dead ? what was her and oliver talking about before the doctors came in what if she faked her death to train to get better and the move that Prometheus made was done by her.
