I'm okay with her staying about the same level as she's held the first half of this season. She's still an important character, but she's not over-the-top.
I've haven't been keeping up with every piece of news, but my understanding is Laurel is not coming back, but a new BC will be introduced.Ok, so what's going on? It's clear that MG is waffling on BC. So is Laurel coming back or are they just trolling the BC fans so that they watch for a couple episodes? I'm not wasting my time anymore. Either they do it right or they don't.
the current code name for the season 5 villain is James (...) ... he is said to be a contemporary of oliver that is dedicated to his own agenda, and he’s extremely charming and charismatic in the process. anyone going out for the part needs to be able to convincingly portray someone who will be someone’s best friend in one second and his or her killer in the next, without offering any sign of his intentions. and it’s just fine with him whichever way it goes.

Vigilante has been trained pretty hard-core though, including moves that Oliver recognizes that may lead to a similar teacher. As far as I've seen, Quinton has never shown any ability in that way, unless he's been learning martial arts during those blackouts...![]()
It's definitely Adrian as Vigilante. Although, a voice actor was used to dub Vigilante's lines, probably to throw fans off. Didn't really do a good job at it, though.
Re: Adrian being Prometheus....no, unless they're playing us on a subconscious level now, too. Vigilante's voice is recognizable Adrian's (same raspy quality, anyway), so if he is Prometheus, they intentionally had Adrian's actor do Vigilante's voice, too, to throw us off.
I don't get it. Jay Oliva and his team did more justice to Constantine and Zatanna, not to mention the rest of the characters, in a 1:16:00 DTV/VOD than Marc Guggenhiem and his team has done for Black Canary in 4 seasons of Arrow.
Look man, just admit that you either don't like the character or you don't know what to do with her and move on. I'm pretty sure the fandom will respect you more for honesty than half-assed apologies when you need to spike your ratings for a couple of episodes.
This is where I walk away. You were good Arrow. For those two seasons you were pretty badass. But you're lack of appreciation for the characters you're adapting is too big for me to stomach. Thanks for introducing Diggle and influencing the creation Emiko into the mythos. But I'm done with your show.
Preach it!
They went on and on about doing their own thing but now they want to honor "Black Canary" and be more
faithful to the name now that it is an original character. But when they had the actual character they didn't give a rats ass. Suddenly now it's ok that Black Canary can be a meta human and kick ass fighter...why not do that with Laurel? They had plentyof opportunities to do her justice but didn't want to.
I was hoping the ratings would go up to show that there was demand for Laurel, but sadly they didn't. Tbf, the Flash ratings were down too, but there would have been no better way to show that people want Laurel back than the ratings going up for the episodes KC is in. Perhaps the Trump interview played its part in ratings being down too (I think it was on at the same time as Arrow).
