The Dark Knight Rises Batman Beyond Movie

Honestly, I think that doing a live-action adaptation of Batman Beyond would be better left to a new television series than a film.

It's an entirely new ballgame, and the average movie-goer would be confused by such a drastic change in the limited Batman story that they're tuned into. The average movie-goer is always a problem when it comes to comic book movies. You can't just make a movie for the fans.

you make a good point aboue the average movie goer....they suck!

i also am a fan of the series idea...perhaps an hbo miniseries. make it very adult oriented to draw in all the BTAS and BB sewries fans that have grown up since the shows cancellation

My suggestions:

Guys, Milo is too old, he's like,30. Terry is supposed to be a TEEN!

I would like the see an animated movie, or a cg movie but for now it doesnt look too good for a live-action film. I am a huge fan of the cartoon series. Terry is such a badass he would kick Peter Parkers ass ahhaa. But i would like to see the series revived rather then a live action movie
I would like them to bring it back to. If fans of the show do what the fans of jericho did maybe wb might bring it back

He's also still fairly young-looking, especially when he's got his hair long. Age means nothing in Hollywood these days.
it does when hes about 15 years older. Sure he looks younger for his age, but he looks nowhere near like a 17-19 yr old

I loved the show when I was a kid but I never see it on anymore. But anyhow, I like this idea because I personally thought that Batman Beyond was cool because they sorta turned Bruce Wayne's character into the new butler now and another thing I like is that they get someone younger to play Batman and you see the difference between his version and Wayne's version of Batman on the screen which was the main thing I loved about that show. The only problem I think that they would have with this is Batman's costume because to keep the signature look from the show; they're gonna have to make the mask go all around his face which will be kinda tricky I guess because I don't remember ever seeing a superhero where that kind of mask before(of course Spider-Man and others like have masks like that but none at which have the mouth clear open so when the person inside speaks the mask moves freely along with the movement of his mouth).

That younger version of Batman (Terry McGinnis) is basically like having Robin(tim drake and/or dick grayson) wearing the Batsuit.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker brilliantly did the Tim Drake/ Joker plot with few complaints of ruining drake's character. That movie did a great job of blending Drake's guilt of shooting and killing the joker (unedited version) with the Joker's twisted subtle brainwash/ DNA takeover with the Cadmus technology. Of course, that could never be done in live action without seeming stupid.

How about we have Dick brainwashed by the Joker instead of Tim. That way by having Bruce forbidding Dick being Robin after he's cured , Dick would become Nightwing. He would have a similar conflict with Bruce like he had in the comics.

people won't even agree to bring robin into the movies.

Exactly, by having a "Batman Beyond" movie, we would have a Robin-esque character (ala Terry McGinnis).

Why not, I was a big fan of the animated series, I wouldn't mind seeing it done at all
