Anyone catch that Battlefield 3 trolling video? lol it's awesome. I'd post it here but I might get an infraction coz it has bad language.

So I finally played the campaign for this game, and yes, the mechanics are ****ing gross: difficulty is more like cheapness, lack of vehicles, no sense of fun like the multiplayer (except for the jet mission, even on rails, that stuff is great).

I have to be honest though, I really enjoyed the story. Blackburn and Dima were great, and their decisions were so brutal. No where near as bad as some of you lead me to believe.

Eh.

Dima was the best part of the game and you only get to play as him for 2 chapters.

I'm all pumped for Back To Karkland tonight on PS3! Was just at Gamestop last night talking to one of the workers there about it (regular conversation, nothing special) and, right out of the blue, he offered me an extra code for the PS3 Limited Edition Online Pass that he found lying around the storage room for free (even though I already had the regular Online Pass from my regular copy of the game; yeah, i know I wasn't as lucky as some of you were getting the Limited Edition, but no biggie). Me being a sucker for free stuff, I accepted and sure enough, the code worked like a charm when I got home!t:

Yup, Wake Island is from Battlefield 1942 and was remade in 1943.

No, its part of the Back to Karkand expansion pack. The pack itself is exclusive to the PS3 for one week. The PC and 360 versions will be out next tuesday.

The PS3 screw up was that EA originally announced that the PS3 version of BF3 would come with a copy of 1943, but the retail version didn't. After backlash EA caved (made right with their promise) and gave out codes.

Yep, been saying it since day one. Its a terribly, terribly designed map. Its bad for Rush as well but completely unplayable in CQ.

Hahahaha yeah Metro is the worst CQ map in the universe.

It's unplayable on anything over a 24 man server.. and even 12 on 12 is difficult if you are playing against a decent team. I usually always pack smoke when I play it on CQ & spam the known camp spots to give myself/team/squad cover for getting up or down escalators.. still isn't fool proof though as you'll get some people that just toss nades into the smoke or RPG it.

I've tried playing it on a 64 man server in the past & it's really bad. Dare I say unless you are playing against a bunch of imbeciles, once one team caps B it's vurtually impossible to take it again due to the volume of players, as well as the volume of those players using RPG's & grenade launchers.

Looking forward to the Back to Karkland expansion. All 4 of the maps that are coming in the DLC were 4 of my favourite maps from BF2 so I can't wait to get playing them under BF3's engine.

Also loving the IRNV nerf, absolutely loving it. You can really tell the amount of people that relied on it so badly that without it they've taken a massive dive down the scoreboards.

How big are the new maps compared to what we have? IE are they more Caspian Border or Op Metro? Im kind of hoping for some really big maps.

The map is too tight. They should have opened up the park and added an extra capture point. A good team on either side can lock down all three no problem but the Russians have an advantage because it's easier to spawn trap the Americans.

Anyways I played through the co-op missions. Why couldn't the campaign be more like those?
