BvS Ben Affleck IS Batman - Part 16

In the animated series, the artists usually made sure Superman looked super strong, while they made Batman look strong and fit, Superman still looked bigger, face it, he's Superman. So unless Cavill has increased his body mass, then great, but Affleck here looks about as muscular as Cavill does or bigger which is not a good sign. Superman should look unbelievably strong because he's an alien and has super-strength.

I'll say again that this Bat logo, not a fan of it, it looks very average.

As a Superman fan myself, I was happy with the first image of Cavill in the suit, it pleased many comic book fans. Since I'm not as big a Batman fan, I don't know what to say about this.

Personally I felt the Man of Steel suit was a great modern take on the suit but still traditional and true to the classic at the same time as well as Cavill's look and physique.

I was expecting something more classic with the Batman suit, something near perfection. Keaton and Kilmer looked like badass killers in the masks, and Bale looked decent enough, didn't care for the ears though.

But if I'm seeing the definite Superman with Batman, it should be the definite Batman look, not an alternate look.

Not saying he should have the bullseye logo, but this Bat logo looks awfully big and doesn't look the coolest or even tops Nolan's bat logo. As for the mask, I think he looks okay but I think it could look a little cooler.

At least this is true to the comics, but there are so many different takes on the Bat costume. Still, I was hoping for something traditional and classic, but modernized too.

A perfect example would be Arkham Ayslum or Arkham origins. I love those suits so much.
I agree with this.

padding does that :oldrazz:

You can see the folds in the "fabric", I doubt there's much padding here, I have no idea if the suit is armored or not but it seems like a mix of fabric & what you have on Supes' suit.

lol. You don't think that's intentional? Movie magic! Of course there is padding there.

Assuming Ben can remain flexible. I'm a bit skeptical since the cowl looks stiff.
I DO hope they don't go backwards in that respect. That was one of the best things about the TDK/TDKR suit.

They can fix that problem in the movie with Affleck's Batman breaks his hand trying to punch Cavill's Superman. And then when Cavill's Superman punch Affeck's Batman, it send him through 5 walls.

Yeah, I think both of us were talking about how we wanted that for the new suit. Looks like we got our wish! :woot:

Yeah, I really don't think I could be happier right now. I even like the symbol, but it's just so cool to see that cowl with the short ears brought to life. THIS is Batman.

These are the same people who did Night Owls costume. It won't be a problem when it comes to the fight choreography.

I love the new batsuit. The only complaint I have is the ears on the cowl are too short. I prefer a bit more length on them. Not ridiculously long either.

The chest bat symbol looks like the Dark Knight Returns one.

This looks AWESOME! If anything, the torso looks a little big and looks really padded. Snyder should've picked a different pose and maybe even given it to us full color. But other than that, for the first time, this is Batman come to life. So fricking excited!
