I know people have been raving about his outstanding physical transformation for the role of Batman but looking at the images below, he looks ok to but certainly nothing outstanding. Though I guess he still has time.

Sorry if these images have been posted before, saw them just now online somewhere.

Haha, yeah I'm not over my SR hate either but I think I could get over it if someone wouldn't drop into this forum every few days and explain to me why I should have appreciated SR more and how it got Superman better than MOS did. I'm sorry, but I like my Superman to have a ****ing personality.
I respect the people who like that movie. But when they try to compare that eventhought in that time Superman had 4 movies of experience and dealing with his powers, did they put supes better? when? They could give Superman a great challenge but they introduce another things that had nothing to do with the character and of course they put him in an omnipresent way, robotic way and that it seems that he has not feelings nor personality and in other ocassions they shown him as rather gullible.
They can like that movie and totally respected but it was a version of the Donner films not were as the real source that were the COMICS . That's why I appreciate what in MOS did, cause it was a refresh but also pretty loyal to the comic, the TRUE source.

Good find! Based on the write-up, he still appears to be working toward the goal of transforming his physique.

ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Production of Batman Vs. Superman is underway in the Detroit area — and that means celebrity star sightings.

What a whirlwind afternoon – meeting the new batman himself, Ben Affleck. We caught him working out on the treadmill at Fitness 19 in Royal Oak reports WWJ’s Zahra Huber.

While he said he couldn’t talk about the Batman movie – but we did catch him walking out of the gym just a few minutes later. He was looking well-worn from the workout … was wearing a dark gray shirt, and had salt and pepper hair .. and he was looking very buff of course — I mean he has to, he’s Batman!

Although we couldn’t get him to give us an interview, he did stop for pictures.

By the way, Affleck’s batmobile of choice — A black Ford Expedition — and of course, he was driving.

He's gonna be the best Batman ever. No doubt in my mind.

I just wish he somehow could have filmed Gone Girl 6 months earlier or something so he could have more time to transform his body.

I still think he's going to kill it though.

I was only skeptic about the Affleck casting for maybe a day until I pretty much sorely warmed up to it. I agree. Batfleck is going to sign, seal and deliver this role. He got this SHEEEITTTTE.

Fleck's definitely got the look down, but I still need to see how he approaches the Batman voice -- how he interacts with criminals and such.

I have zero doubt that Affleck will deliver, that was never the issue in my mind. It's just the duo of Snyder and Goyer makes me absolutely assured that this film isn't touching the Nolan trilogy, but to be honest i was never looking for it to, i just want it to be fun, entertaining and different, not derivative in any way.

Then hopefully Ben can direct his own solo bat-flicks, then the real excitement begins for me.

I'm starting to warm up to Affleck a bit. I never thought he was going to be OMG awful anyway so I wouldn't say I was one of the haters.

Listen Affleck was obviously apart of bringing in an Oscar winner to rewrite Goyer's script so there is that. I like Snyder and Goyer is good at story and structure so I'm not as worried as some people are. I do worry about overcrowding and too many plot points. AKA I worry it could be another The Amazing Spider-Man 2 type of bad film.

It will prove interesting seeing the new version of Batman. I'm curious to see how the role will be portrayed since its decidedly different from previous versions.

People are worried about the Batfleck's voice, but there's no way it can be worse than Bale's haha.

I take that back. Bale's Batvoice is AWESOME in BB

He looks trimmer for sure. I've never had any doubt over Affleck. I'm hopeful on Eisenberg and Gadot but they have plenty to prove still but Batfleck, I'll be seriously surprised if I don't love him in this.

Yeah, but don't you want it to be much better? Bale didn't exactly raise the bar with his take on the batvoice.

I hear that Affleck's Batman will disguise his voice by using a high-pitched French accent.

He's gonna be the best Batman ever. No doubt in my mind.

Not only that, but I think Zack's the best thing to happen to Batman from a character standpoint. He can capture atmosphere, and in his non-Goyer works, he has been accused of being too faithful to the comics.

Like I said, if the movie is good/great, it will be one of the best CBMS, if only for providing a proper DCU. And if it's weak, it'll be surreal to see the best Batman in one of the weaker movies.

We know he'll fight like a boss, and look intimidating in the dark lighting. He'll probably be a smart detective/military strategist. What's left is the voice, and let's face it, any voice is probably better than some of the weaker Bale moments.

If he nails Batman, he'll steal the movie. If he doesn't, he'll be blamed for ruining it.

But Crudup has a soft-spoken voice IRL, and the audio tweaks made him downright scary as Dr Manhatten in places. Snyder's technical knowledge will definitely give him the edge as far as depiction of Batman goes.

I hear that Affleck's Batman will disguise his voice by using a high-pitched French accent.

That's very true to the spirit of the comics. Since Bruce Wayne learned his detective skills from Henri DuCard, a French policemen, it's been well-documented that he disguises his voice with a French accent as an homage to his mentor.

THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!

^LOL! Funny you should post that, because Henry has been in a Schumacher-directed film...with Michael Fassbender.

I actually did not know that. Thanks for the tip! What is the name of the movie? I actually like Schumachers non-bat films quite a bit, my favourite is Flatliners with Keifer Sutherland.

It's called Blood Creek. Cavill and Fassbender are good in it, but it's pretty much DTV horror film quality. But better than you would expect a film with a name like Blood Creek to be.
