It's great to see Affleck involved with this. I think he has become a talented actor and filmmaker and I think he'll do great in the role. Personally, while I know a lot of people didn't like Affleck's take of Daredevil, I thought he was good and I think he deserved a better movie. It's nice to see him get another shot at the superhero thing, though, and in something much bigger with huge potential to be amazing.

I agree.

It's his bat voice and what it will ultimately sound like that worries me. I don't think Ben has a very commanding voice. Then again, neither did Keaton and that worked out well.

I'm really excited to see what kind of one-liners Affleck can throw out as Batman and Bruce Wayne.

I wouldn't mind this Batman being darkly funny or having an extremely dry sense of humor about him. A guy who makes jokes just about how s***** the world has gotten for him.

Affleck can pull that off.

you know Cavill is pretty massive, but just looking at that picture Affleck outsizes him-- and he's wearing black, which usually slims people down. imagine if he was also wearing a white dress shirt.

I have no doubt that Cavill is much more muscular and better built though... but yeah, Afflecks size makes up for his less muscular build very nicely.

After all, in movies it's all about visual impression, so considering his size he doesn't really have to be ripped. I'd certainly like him to get in the shape similar to the one when he was filming the Town, but I don't think that's really necessary, he's just fine as he is right now.

I don't think it's exclusively the question of the size of the muscles. He was much slimmer in The Town (which is very noticeable when you look at his face in the pictures from that movie), he obviously had less body fat and as result to that his muscles were very well defined.

He'll probably be bigger in the terms of a body size and hence also the size of his muscles, but I don't see him having a muscle definition that he had in The Town.

With that being said, I'll repeat that I have no problem with his current look.

Walking back to his car after dinner in LA last night. He seems to be working a very definite 5-day week on Batman - every weekend, he's either in LA or with his family in Detroit.

He's replaced Teh Puffy with Teh Scruffy. That's what I call an upgrade!

Looking good guys, I just always viewed in the comics as Batman and Superman being roughly the same height at least eye level that it will be weird seeing a Batman that towers over Superman.
