I don't get mad if someone says anything negative about the Nolan films. I love them but they aren't the only source of Batman I love. I probably love BTAS and the Arkham games more then Nolan's take and I also love Burton's take.

I do get pissed over people saying and think Webb's TASM films are better then Raimi's since the first time I got into Spidey was my uncle taking me, my mom, and my brother (dad was out of town) to Spider-Man 2 and I loved it.

Oddly enough the same Uncle gave me my first Batman and Robin figures for me on my 2nd or 3rd birthday and that got me into Batman.

I saw the trilogy first and I think TASM is way better. It's hard to find anything good about the movies. I'm watching the first one now on TBS and the terrible acting is the one thing that I keep noticing.

The first Spider-Man is the best. No question about it.

At least Tobey doesn't mubble most of his lines or is a dick in the movie. Enjoy the Goblin knock out Lizard who develops a split personality after taking a serum like Norman in the first film. Also enjoy logic like a football that bent a ****ing goalpost.

those first two Raimi films are superhero classics that will go down with the first two X-Men films, the first two Burton Batman films and the first two Superman films.

I love how all the Batman threads in this forum all derail to Spiderman. :funny:

It would be unfair to not acknowledge the first two nolan movies in there as well, especially if you put both Burton movies up there. (Personally I enjoyed them both, many others do not however)

First two Nolan films should be considered classics, as should MOS and probably both CA movies... but first two X-Men films? They were ok, but thats it - ok, not cassics!

i didn't mention the Nolan films because they were more recent.

They are all classics, and the first two are in my top 5 films of all time.

MOS will never be considered a classic to the GA. To you? Maybe but not to the GA.

Don't get nit picky now.
Or else I'll get nit picky on the raimi movies.

I remember reading a super nitpicky review of Spidey 2, and holy crap the film has enough in it to keep a nitpicker busy for a considerable amount of time. But lets not turn this into another Spidey thread, It'll inevitably just turn into a Levi rants about TASM 1&2 thread.

Spider-Man 1 and 2 are two of the best superhero movies ever. They may get overshadowed with all the "new kids", but they will always be precious to me.

Those movies got me into comics, I love them. But I will not lie to myself and say they're the best superhero movies ever.

I know he's done a few films with action in them, some pretty hard hitting, but does anyone know if Ben has any sort of martial arts training at all? A regular fight trainer or stunt co-ordination that he usually works with?

I think Spider-Man 2 is up there with the best of them.

I never got how Spider man 2 is said to be the greatest comic book movie.
Did I love it when I was younger? Hell yes, I thought it was perfection, but now I realise how cheesy it is. Does it still have great moments like the train fight scene? yep, still love that fight.

Oh and that soundtrack is still the f-ing best!

Talking of classics, BatFleck himself will be a bonafide classic. In fact he's pretty much there already just from grocery shots but once he gets a release should start climbing that all-time list fast.
